THEY LIE TO CUSTOMERS!! Deceptive!! THEIFS!! Go somewhere else! Run far away!! I was blatantly lied to at this location. They told me that I needed a new wheel bearing, and I needed it replaced now. Being a mother, the guy (Keith) used scare tactics with me. Telling me "if you were my wife, I wouldn't drive that car, as the tire could fall off at any moment". . Also said, " and I sure wouldn't allow my son to get in that car" he then told me don't even drive it home, get a rental car and drive it home and leave the car with them, because that's how dangerous it is. After calling my husband, he told me to get home and get a second opinion. And that's what I did, got 2 additional second opinions... And GUESS WHAT? Nothing was wrong with my car.. NOTHING! The wheel bearings were perfect and my suspension was tight. So what was meineke going to do, I'll tell you.. STEAL MY MONEY, because NOTHING was wrong with my car.. Very deceptive and shady individuals working at this location. Please, go somewhere else.. Or they will rip you off and take your money! Just put in a complaint with meineke corporate.. This place is terrible!!

This place is terrible. I got a dual exhaust installed by them. They told me after it started falling apart after only being on for a year that it was because the way they did it before by clamping wasnt the best way. Welding its the best way. They didnt want to fix their mistakes. They cursed and yelled at me to. Here I am about 3 years later still having to fix something on the exhuast very often. Their service was junk and so was their work. Dont go here

Interesting how my negative comment reflecting a less than positive experience with the Meineke Car Care Center York, PA, was quickly deleted from this site. I would use extreme caution in using this center. The service and quality of work is lacking tremendously...in fact, the repairs they made are now at another show as they were not at all fixed. Use extreme caution....

Just wanted others to know that there is a shop out there that isnt trying to rip people off. i was told at another shop, right next to this meineke, that i needed 600 worth of brake repairs for the front and a low brake pedal. so when i went to get a second quote the manager, JR, asked me why i needed brake repairs. i told him that i was given a quote from somewhere else and that they told me my brakes were dangerous. he actually took the time to take me out to my car and show me my brakes. in the twenty years that i have been driving i have never had a mechanic actually show me what they were fixing. never/ JR showed me my front brakes, which had plenty left, and even showed me what a new pad looked like. they only did a brake flush and cleaned the back brakes and now my brakes feel great. the guys there saved me over 500.00 and took the time to really explain what was going on. great service. thanks guys, you have a customer for life!!!
