After purchasing a gun for my husband at a gun show, one employee proceeded to tell my about the 19th amendment and how women should never have been allowed to vote. He cited one obscure study done in South Carolina that said women had brains that only allowed us to think with emotions and feelings, not with intellect. He questioned me on my voting record and who I was going to vote for. He said I would probably just vote for a straight ticket like his dumb niece. Is this the new American business model? Take the customer’s money and then spend 5-10 minutes insulting them. The owner stood there listening to this whole tirade, not saying a word to his employee. I left pretty much in shock that someone would talk like that to a customer.

I called the owner, John, the next day to return the gun and was told they didn’t have a return policy. John didn’t understand why I was insulted. Really? Your employee wanted the 19th amendment repealed; taking away my right to vote and you don’t have a clue why I was insulted? I will no longer do business with them. If you are a woman, I would advise you to go elsewhere. And if you are African American, you might want to reconsider shopping there also, as there were under the breath remarks about people of color while we sat there. And FYI Stonybrook, it is false advertising to have a BBB logo on your site when you are not actually accredited by the BBB.

Positive transactions when I both bought and transferred guns here. Owner was no nonsense and respectful conducting business.

I've bought many guns from the owner John and what i like is John and everyone there take the job of selling firearms and ammo very seriously. The people who complain are the ones who don't understand the responsibility of owning a gun. He is a reasonably priced individually owned shop trying to compete against the big named shops. I highly recommend John to everyone because he will also help you fit your needs and don't push the expensive gun if it don't fit your needs.

If it's customer service you are looking for, stay away from this place! They have never learned the concept of customer service. Both the boobs that work there are rude, inconsiderate, and couldn't care less about how they talk to customers.
