as the manager of York transmissions I would like to respond to Sharon's comment, you were sent here from another garage the reason is they know we would provide expert transmission services, when dealing with an extended warranty company there is a process to follow. we were still within the time frame given to you for repairs and would have kept that time frame and completed the repairs within that week. In a normal work week we may be repairing 10 to 30 vehicles, everyone else needs their vehicles as well, the woman in the office was not trying to be rude, we are on schedule with your vehicle and when you told her you would take it somewhere else, I told her to call you back and request that you pick up your vehicle and take it somewhere else then. That week one employee had a family situation out of town and needed the week off, in spite of that we were still within the time quoted, we had 16 hours left to complete a 12 hour repair.

This place was to check out our transmission and call our warranty company and tell them what was wrong to see if they would cover the costs to be fixed. We explained that it is our only vehicle and it was hard to go without, but they said to drop it off and they would fix it this week. We've called several times this week to find out the status, . Each time we called, they said, "Oh, they are getting to that this afternoon" but they never got to it. We drove by the place to see if the van was still sitting in the same place, and the interior light was on and the car was unlocked! This was at 9:30 at night, so I don't know what happened! Then, my husband finally had enough and went to pick it up 4 days later because they still did nothing to it, and they had put a rag over the latch where the hatch locks into place. Why? What was the purpose of this? the lady on the phone was rude and not professional!!
