Action Arts Academy, USA operates primarily in the Virginia Peninsula area and presently has 7 locations from which we teach the art of WTF Taekwondo. We have found that by offering quality instruction in more locations that we can minimize the cost to the school and thus charge less for classes than most other martial arts schools in our area. In addition to this, the reduced overhead has enabled us to forego many of the things you would typically find when searching for a martial arts school to attend.  For example: It is not our policy nor our desire to ever contractually obligate any student (or parent) to any specific length of instruction. We are well aware that obligations will sometimes interfere with our desires and we here at Action Arts Academy do not in any way want to be a hindrance or problem to our students. Unlike many martial arts schools, when we leave the dojang (classroom/school) our obligations to our students and their well-being do not end now nor will ever end. Many of the students and instructors that leave the area are still in touch with us and attend our classes, tests, and events when the opportunity presents itself. As I mentioned earlier, we are a WTF Taekwondo school. WTF is the acronym for World Taekwondo Federation, and in this case it means exactly what it sounds like. Unlike many martial arts, WTF Taekwondo, because it is an international art with strict guidelines regarding ranking and instruction, is recognized and approved in any location in the world where it is taught. Regardless of the Rank you may be should you be forced for any reason to leave a WTF school, any other WTF school that you may decide to attend will recognize you at the last rank you attained. The instructors and leadership council here at Action Arts Academy, USA are both proud and humbled by the many experiences and accomplishments that have been made possible for us since it's beginnings many years ago. With 5 Active 3rd Dan adult instructors and an additional 15 (or so) ranking 1st and 2nd Dan, we have been able to provide a great many students and families the opportunity to experience what we believe a great martial arts school should be.
