I will never use independent taxi again disrespectful dispatchers and drivers and my daughter keeps getting bit up bye bed bugs every time we use their service

The drivers here were so helpful to me when I was new to the area, and took my concerns on saving money seriously! Always took me the cheapest way!

We called and asked for an estimate to take my daughters to their dance class since our car's heater is not working and I have a heart condition. My daughter gave the dispatcher the exact address of the dance studio and our exact address and we were quoted $8. We scheduled a ride and the driver picked my daughters up. Only AFTER he had them in the cab, meter running, and was part way there did he inform them that it was $20! And we were stuck paying it because they already had our kids IN THEIR CAB. This is called "Bait and Switch" in other business categories. And it is, literally, fraud.

When I called the dispatcher to try and get this dealt with, he told me that he thought the destination was in a different plaza and that my daughter should have told him the plaza. That she should have been more specific! I asked how much more specific one could be than an exact address?! In the age of computers, a simple Mapquest can provide exact mileage and I know they can do this since my husband has had to take this cab company to his work from time to time and has given them AN ADDRESS. And they gave him an exact estimate, to the penny.

Funny, because when I contacted the competitor's company, they gave us an estimate of.... $8 to bring them back. The same mileage, same trip in reverse.

I WILL be pressing charges via whatever means are available. It's after business hours right now, but come morning I will see that this does not happen to others. It should be considered kidnapping- they had my kids and required a "ransom" to get them back.

Have used them many..many time never had any trouble!!! Awesome friendly drivers..and dispatchers I have felt with were friendly and nice

I had to be somewhere before 3pm. I called at 1pm and was told they would pick me up 20 minutes later. At 1:50pm, I called and asked where they were. That said they would be there in 15 minutes. I told them if they couldn't make it so I could be at my appt to tell me. They said They would he there. 30 minutes later I called back and they asked me what street I wanted picked up. I told them I have waited 1.5 he when they originally said 20 min. Then, after it was too late to call anyone else, they told me they wouldn't be abletogwtme there on time. I am extremely happy upset. It was a job interview and I missed it. I called almost 2 hrs in advance. They shouldve bwen honest from the beginning. I will NEVER use them again!

Picked us up walking home. Told them where we were heading and they picked us up on the way. Great driver easy to talk to.

$50 for a round trip to a gas station 7 miles away. lol

If it was a yellow cab, it was A-cab not Independent Taxi.
