Lee’s Custom Upholstering Company, a minority-owned and operated residential and commercial furniture re-upholstering company founded in 1952. The company has been owned and operated by Earl Lee Jr. since 1981. As a family-owned company located in the Mahoning Valley for 50 years, the company has continued to thrive in the midst of economic changes. Since 1981, the company has underwritten the training of individuals interested in upholstery. As the demographics of Youngstown changed and the increase of urban blight became a reality. Lee’s Custom Upholstering Company changed its location to continue to serve its clients. From 1990 through 2000, Lee’s Custom Upholstering Company was located at 5020 Market Street in Boardman, Ohio. We are now located the city’s north side business district on Belmont Avenue.
