I'm so glad I asked Dr. Buto to do bunion surgery on both my feet last spring. The surgery was very successful and he made my ugly crooked big toes completely straight. My balance is better and my feet look really terrific! Even my shoes fit better and are more comfortable too since he gave me some orthodics. I'm a 54-year-old female and an avid walker and I wish I'd done this years ago, instead of waiting so long. I was terrified of surgery (first time), but Dr. Buto was extremely kind, knowledge, and re-assuring. He went out of his way to make sure everything was right and the follow-up visits were the same. His office is plastered with awards and little cartoons and his staff is absolutely the best! I can't say enough how teriffic my experience was - I recommend him and his office to everyone. One word of warning, though, if you're thinking of getting bunion surgery: it takes patience! If you want a quick fix so you can return to walking/running and wearing tight fashionable shoes in just a few weeks, you'll be disappointed. But if you are willing to follow the post-surgery directions (feet elevated, take it easy, wear comfortable shoes) until everything is really healed, then you'll be thrilled, like me, with the results.
