I have taken both of my shelties to the Pet Spa to be groomed & both times I was very happy. Due to anxiety in one of my dogs, I stayed with her & Tonya was so good with her knowing how scared she was. She then did my other sheltie & knowing he had arthritis & a bad leg, they worked with him & was so kind & gentle. I also stayed with him due to his leg issue & felt welcome. They both looked amazing when we left. I have made another appointment with Tonya at her Belleville location & know once again my baby will look good for fall...

I had my dog groomed there one time and she ended up with an ear infection! She's never had an ear infection before and after going to this place, all of a sudden she's got one! Even worse, the owner and the groomer took no responsibility for this and blamed it on her previous groomer, who was very thorough and caring. Very disappointing. I would not recommend this place to anyone. In fact, I would urge people to avoid The Pet Spa at all costs!!

I took my dog to the Pet Spa for the first time this weekend. I explained the cut I was looking for, and the groomer (Selina) assured me that she could do this type of grooming, which is a standard cut for the breed. When I came back, I was mortified to see that she has completely shaved my dog! She had some mats on her legs (she has fine hair and mats quite easily), and instead of being a professional and working through them, she took the lazy way out and just shaved her. Now not only does my dog not look like her breed, she looks sickly and like a completley different dog. This not a qualified, competent groomer, and I would encourage all pet owners to think twice before bringing their pet to The Pet Spa for grooming. I for one will never be going back.
