The DFA of California, also known as the American Council for Food, Safety & Quality is a nonprofit organization that provides services to the dried fruit and tree nut industries. Operational for more than 100 years, it maintains a full-service laboratory that offers food testing and analysis for clients worldwide. The organization conducts tests to check food for pesticides, food additives, microbiologicals, filth and mycotoxins. The DFA of California offers quality management systems evaluation and auditing and international food safety consulting services.
