Provided by YP.comWe rented two places from VFR and had an EXCEPTIONAL experience! They have always been quick to respond to anything we needed assistance with. The owner and staff have always been very kind and professional in the best way! Very grateful and extremely thankful to have found VFR will continue to rent and highly recommend them to anyone needing a place to call home or to have them assist in managing your property.

Provided by YP.comI have had a nightmare of an experience trying to rent from valley fair, my partner and I paid 80$ to apply for a home that had been rented already, the woman who was supposed to be working on our application (Joan) asked us for our employment information (which was already listed on the application we filled out) 3 times!! I literally kept forwarding her the original email I had sent with the information. Half the time when we would call to ask about the application no one answers, and even after we applied for a different property after not getting the first one, I had to call 3 times just for the receptionist to tell me the “thinks” the company is going to end up selling the property we had applied for. I’m not someone who writes bad reviews, I’ve worked in customer service but I honestly hope this review keeps anyone who is looking to rent a home or apartment from going through valley fair. Awful experience, I literally feel like we were scammed.

Provided by YP.comCalled Valley Fair at eight this morning to tell them that our air conditioner went out, they said they'd call be back. Never heard anything so I called them back at noon, they asid they were working on it. Never heard anything after that, so my wife, who is a cancer survivor, and just had major surgery, called them back at three, and nothing. So here we sit in 100 degree weather, no air conditioning. All this company is worried about is money. They are raising our rent every other month for"cost of living" whatever the fuck that means. Stay away from this company, they do not care about their renters. The townhouses look like they haven't been remodeled since the seventies. As soon as I can afford to move , we're out of here.

Provided by YP.comI wish I can give 0 star. Don't ever rent from this agency , they billed me almost $5000 when I moved out. The house I rented is so old a dirty and now the landlord wanted the house back for sale. So they want my $ to fix everything . I'm so disappointed , they're over charge.... Stay away from this agency...

Provided by YP.comAiko signed a lease for my daughter with this company. She live there for a year which was a little more than the lease. Upon move out my wife and I spent 4 days cleaning painting and making sure the place was as close to move-in ready as possible which we've always done when we've have rentals in the past. We were quite shocked when they gave us an itemized bill 4 / $1,000. Labor cost for $60 an hour to do minor repairs such as replacement of light bulbs, replacement $24 mini blinds in one bedroom a $60 charge for that replacing a section of baseboard where it chipped. This company is renting old worn-out properties and charging excessive fees for the labor when you move out that are far beyond what would be considered Fair. If you go outside this apartment and look around it you can see the eves on the roof have actually rotted all the way through. The ceiling cracked because the building shifted and caused the bathroom window to shatter. This company is crooked it lacks integrity.

Provided by YP.comI applied for a duplex at 305 C Street in Wheatland, CA. I submitted my applications and proof of income except one thing that I needed to obtain which was given at the time I viewed the duplex with Laura. she was super sweet and she even told us that we were first in line after she made the statement someone has applied and we are waiting for proof of income and I said " that's us and I have it" and gave it to her. we beyond excited that we were getting the place that would fit all our needs. my son has autism and we need a place that has closed kitchen, security screen door, etc. right after my appointment I went to retrieve my mail and received a notice from Amanda. the letter claimed that we have been denied. I called and left a message for her and even said that all documents have been submitted. she did not return my call and I called her again on 09-02-14. I stayed on hold for a while and she got on the phone and said "the duplex has been rented to someone else" I was in shock to say the least and devastated. I told her, I submitted everything and ask if there was something wrong with my application. she said " you have been approved but I rented this to someone else." I talked to her supervisor Barbara and she gave me the old "don't know what to tell ya." but my application will be on file for a year if I wanted something else and why would I want to rent from Valley Fair Realty when they discriminate against the disabled is beyond me. I called my attorney and he requested that we apply for a few more places to see if we get denied and something is telling me we will. we applied for this place on August 21st and was denied on the 27th!
