Dr. Gholam "Gino" R. Zadeii is a board-certified physician with subspecialty certifications in Cardiovascular Disease who has served as a Senior Associate Consultant at Mason City Clinic and Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa since 2003. Dr. Zadeii is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at Des Moines University and the University of Iowa, and Director of the Heart Failure Clinic at Mercy Heart Center. Dr. Zadeii first completed a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry and then a Master’s degree in Microbiology from the University of the Incarnate Word, followed by his medical degree from the University of Santiago School of Medicine. His extensive postgraduate training included an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine, as well as fellowships in Critical Care Medicine and Nephrology at SUNY Buffalo and in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Minnesota. In addition to his extensive training and experience, Dr. Zadeii’s word has been published in abstract papers and leading medical journals. He has participated in several clinical research studies, and holds expertise in many different areas of care, including diagnostic heart catheterization, pulmonary angiography, hemodynamic monitoring, vascular access device closure, and many more. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the Society of Vascular Medicine, Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Society of Echocardiography, among others.
