Don't trust what these people tell you. They say as long as you pay ANYTHING on your bill each month, even $5, they won't lock you out of being able to use your propane. I've heard this from them several times. At least 3. But then when you pay $50 each month because you lost your income, even with out asking for more propane in the mean time, then they lock you out anyway. You call to make a payment, but the say the entire thing must be paid, along with the lockout fee of $175. You can't pay right at that moment that entire thing, so they call you back and claim that you were rude to them by saying 1 cuss word to yourself, and that they're picking up your tank that same day because they "don't have to put up with that". Then, when you FINALLY get to talk to the manager, she tells you that the previous owner told me that, and that once that person was no longer the owner, that was no longer true. How was I supposed to know that the business was sold? The manager said that she informed everybody of the policy change. I said that nobody told me. Then she said "well that's because you didn't have a balance owed at the time." Ok, so I guess I'm supposed to be psychic? And now they're not only holding my propane hostage, they are charging me another 175 for the lockout? And taking the propane and tank back? The new owners must think they're the mafia. Before this, I certainly would have recommended them. But now under new ownership, it's best to do your business elsewhere unless you like being blackmailed. Completely unprofessional. They made a huge mistake by selling to the new crooks. Sad.Now, to the manager, I did slip and say the f word🙄 and I apologized for that, sarcastically. That's when she said she wouldn't pick up the tank "because you apologized" she said. I'm guessing that once they see this, they will decide to take my tank and propane and charge my card for the propane they're going to take back. I'll let you know if they do. And then I'll file a lawsuit.
