Yucca Valley High School is operated by the Morongo Unified School District and serves more than 1,500 students in grades nine through 12. It offers a wide variety of academic courses, including English, mathematics, foreign languages, science, social studies, art, and physical and health education. The high school provides a wide variety of facilities to the students, including permanent and relocatable classrooms, a career center, computer and science laboratories, a video production classroom and library. The high school has implemented a school-within-a-school program for ninth grade students who have low attendance, and tardiness and disciplinary issues. Additionally, it provides various support services, such as counselors, psychologists, health technicians, and speech and language specialists. The high school is located in Yucca Valley, Calif.
