Lost sale over $300 on a used Mustang, GM Don,if that's wrong then he's short fat bald guy w glasses, I made offer based on other dealers, mileage, similar cars, he had nerve 2 say"maybe u just shouldn't buy a car here"& other remarks that made this personal instead of business.had enough, told him I could accommodate & buy elsewhere, kept my cool, said have a nice day, he smirked & made same statement only in childish condescending tone & marched to my face as he said it & followed on my heals as I left office, chasing me out door when I stopped, could no longer tolerate this jerk, told him 2 back up now!he could tell I was serious & backed up.Who does that?insults people & continue 2 argue as I say I'm leaving?was warned about dealership by many people, gave them a shot because they are in home town. I will never set foot on any Joe Cooper lot again. Mgmt there is worst I've ever seen, they do not come off prices at all, GM is lucky I possess manners and restraint or he'd be on the ground.

They will absolutely not negotiate on the price of a vehicle. They did not honor the internet coupon because "the price of the vehicle was just drastically dropped, and there's no leeway in the price". I was looking at a used minivan that he admitted had been on the lot for 45 days, yet they still would not negotiate on the price or honor the internet coupon. Also beware to check financing papers, they tried to overcharge me, he claimed it was a typo so fixed it. Then he claimed that I had to purchase GAP insurance or the finance company wouldn't finance it (which is okay because I can cancel it). I only purchased for this dealer because I've been looking for a minivan for a few months, and have not found one at other dealers. Then on the way home the check engine light came on. Obviously all the BS about having it inspected, etc... is a flat out lie. The whole process took way too long.

I don't even think Joe Cooper is worth 1 star. Purchasing a truck from Joe Cooper in Yukon has turned out to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had to go through. My husband chose a truck and we had our bank approve us for the loan. The only thing Joe Cooper had to handle was the paperwork. Two months later the paperwork is still messed up. We have had to sign the paperwork 5 yes I said FIVE TIMES and they have LOST it all FIVE times. So we have a truck we have been driving for 2 months that our bank can't wire money for because we don't have the paperwork. Where is the paperwork with all of my personal information????? Yikes after FIVE TIMES I would think they would get it right. We have called EVERY DAY about the paperwork and title and someone always says they will call us back. NEVER has anyone Ever called us back, we have always had to call them. Joe Cooper keeps giving us a temp tag and promising us paperwork but as of today we still have not seen it. We got this truck June 18th, 3 temp tags later and still no paperwork.

Joe Cooper has the WORST customer service I have EVER had to deal with. I finally called the acting General Manager Richard Sills and was basically told he would look into yet again and then he hung up on me. (I would think from embarrassment from yet again not having answers for me)

I am pretty sure that Joe Cooper continuously giving temp tags on a 2 month old truck is not the best business practice. My next step is to file a claim with the Oklahoma Attorney Generals Office and the Better Business Bureau.

I would not recommend anyone doing business with Joe Cooper in Yukon. There are so many other Ford dealers in Oklahoma that has better customer service and business practices. I cringe at the thought of Joe Cooper even being in business.

Very happy both times

We just recently had our second experience buying car(s) from JCF - Yukon. Both were excellent!

The first time, we had Isaac as our salesperson and he worked very hard to find us the perfect F150 in our price range. I cannot stress enough how wonderful he was! That was 4 years ago.

This past weekend we went back and since Isaac is now a manager (no surprise!), he hooked us up with Robyn, who was equally amazing! We were trading in our truck to get a new Explorer and a used second car. Robyn worked very hard to find us the perfect combination to keep us in our budget and never pressured us to increase our spending allowance. She finally found us a car at another dealership and was able to get it down to us.

When we got to test drive the used Dodge from another dealership, it had problems. Joe Cooper agreed to have the car fixed, gave us a very nice loaner F150, and still told us that if we weren't satisfied with the Dodge after it came back from the shop, we could still walk away. This was all arranged and taken care of by Daniel, who was also great. I was worried that we would be told, "Used cars come as-is" and end up back at square one, but that was not the case at all.

Other people we dealt with were Robert, who was nice and upfront about the trade-in quote of the truck, even though we felt like it was worth a little more.

Andrea also was there because she and my husband had emailed about some other used vehicles that didn't actually get to the dealership that day. We were not sure why she was actually part of our process, but she was nice. She was kind of scatterbrained though.

Some critiques now:

The new "No-hassle pricing" is supposed to be better for the buyer because there is no "running back and forth to the manager to approve a negotiation.....blah blah blah". For the buyer, what this truly means is "No Negotiating" and "Way less hassle for the salesPERSON". Although I felt like the pricing on the Explorer and Dodge were fair, I really felt like the trade-in should have been about $1000 higher based on multiple online quotes (KBB, Autotrader, etc). Even if we had been able to just negotiate an extra $500, that would have put our financing IN the budget and not $300 over. I wasn't too upset since that is not much, but I wasn't impressed with "No-Hassle Pricing". In the long run, the dealership ended up putting another $500 into the used Dodge before we picked it up yesterday, so I feel like overall, it was exactly what we were going for.

We will continue to purchase vehicles from JCF- Yukon and will recommend them to our friends and family.

Very poor attitudes. My salesman was very courtious, although his manager hated him for it and the finance officer treated him like dirt. They told me an offer then when I agreed to that offer Joe Cooper Ford - Yukon said they never made the offer and could not honor it....I fight with them for a couple of hours and they finally honor the first offer...with an extra fee they charge to everyone I guess. They wanted to check to see if their creditors could give me a better deal...they told me they could. I have a 760 credit score and they tried to tell me 8.6% was the best deal I could get out there....I finally fixed that issue, bought the bumper to bumper warranty and a week later the ac compressor went out. I tried to call them, they refused to help me. I was stuck at the cvs 5 miles away and they would not even help me with towing expenses. I asked about my warranty and they said it didn't cover it. I investigated and the warranty said it did cover it so I called them back and called them on their lie. Then they said it was an $800 part so i looked online - brand new for $225. I called the salesman that I bought the car from and he came and picked me up (with his personal vehicle) and paid for my towing himself. I would never buy a car from this dealership or recommend them to anyone ever! I have bought over 10 cars now and have never had service anywhere close to this level. I wish I didnt even have to give them one star. I feel bad for such a good salesman working at such a poorly ran company. its 2 months since I bought the car and I dont even have my title yet! I keep calling them but they tell me to hold while they transfer me and then transfer me back into the cue where I go through the whole process again!

I cannot stress enough DONT BUY FROM JOE COOPER. If you want good service and price I would recommend a fowler dealership or really any other dealership besides this one! I think the revews speak for themselves.

I bought a used car and my saleman Dustin was great. The general manager was also very respectful and didn't feed me any lines. Best car buying experience I've ever had.

Don't waste your time!

We bought a truck from here because we like to keep our money local. However our salesman was a total loser and didn't know anything, the sales manager had to make the deal for him. Salesman and manager promised us some upgrades and repairs but never delivered. In fact when we called them out on it they denied ever making the promise. Unfortunately the general manager choose to take the side of the salesman vs the customer over a $400 tire repair. We've handled the repairs ourselves and we will never give our money to this dealership again. Please go elsewhere, other dealerships appreciate your business.

We've bopught the last 2 vehicles from them but was told they were too busy to bother with us, even after we broght it to their attention they still blew us off TOO BUSY, I believe I can help them with this problem.

No Communication and Car Unprepared

My husband and I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and had the worst experience with them. We would not have bought this car had we been aware how we would be treated after we signed 90% of the paperwork.

We took the car for a test drive on a Saturday afternoon and immediately knew from the pricing and the quality of the vehicle that we wanted to purchase it. We went in to a sales person's office and discussed options for payment. When we settled on an offer that worked best for us, we began signing paperwork while they made copies of everything from our drivers' licenses to paystubs from our places of employment. We were told to return with our automobile insurance and a down payment in four (4) days. We were under the impression the car would be ready to be driven off the lot upon our return. After 4 days had passed, we got behind the wheel of our trade-in and traveled all the way from Norman to the dealership - a trip that ended up taking us well over 3 hours in bumper-to-bumper traffic. Our car severely overheated from idling in heavy traffic and we were put in danger, but we were sure that we would be leaving that car at the dealership and driving our new vehicle home. When we arrived at Joe Cooper, they informed us the car had not even been brought in to the shop for minor detailing and cleaning! They did make copies of our insurance but then informed us we needed to transfer the insurance to the new car (that was not yet in our possession). We handed them the check for down-payment and they sent us home empty-handed; they did not offer us a rental car to use overnight.

Every time a customer purchases a vehicle - the paperwork is signed, copies of important documents are made, and a down-payment is passed to the company's "hands" - the customer goes home with the purchased vehicle, NOT sent home overnight for preparations on the vehicle to be started the next morning! Joe Cooper took the vehicle that was 90% mine around the side of the building and marked it as SOLD but did not deem to send it to the shop over the course of 4 days to be prepared for pick-up.

It is not the dealership's fault our trade-in overheated on the freeway and caused us harm, but it is their fault they led us to believe we would be driving up to their lot to pick up a car that was not even ready as opposed to calling us to inform us of the vehicle's status, thus causing us to take the trouble to drive so far out of our way. The poor communication exuded from their end is why no one is purchasing vehicles at their lot. We would not have driven 3 hours to hand over a check for a vehicle that wasn't even in the beginning stages of preparation for sale! The dealership had 4 days to prepare the car for our scheduled date to be back at the dealership to put the finishing touches on the purchase. It is not as though they were swamped with other customers - every day that we had showed up on their sales floor, the sales men were playing games and goofing off. In this recession, one would imagine a dealership team would be trying its very best to get automobiles rolling off the lot in a timely manner. If minor detailing is such a trial for them to accomplish, then perhaps better communication would prove them a dealership worth people's hard-earned money in this recession. The sales team doesn't seem to care about customer satisfaction or treatment. Once the majority of the paperwork is signed, their customer service goes down the drain. We had to badger them 3-4 times a day just to confirm the automobile would be ready for pick-up on promised date... and no one ever contacted us back.

I would not recommend this dealership for anyone. Ever.
