I bought the most beautiful dress for my 15 yr old daughter's banquet, and ask her to let it out about 1/2 inch. So we could get the zipper all the way up. She COMPLETELY ruined the dress. It was a blue silk. And she cut the slip from underneath the dress which was not at all the same fabric or color and sewed it into both sides of the dress. Which not only looked horrible but made the dress way to big on my daughter. And the way she cut it on the side made it impossible to fix.
