This place is not worth it!

I don't think this place deserves a star but Yellowpages.com won't let me submit my review without selecting one.
I am new to Yuma and haven't found a doctor yet. Then this morning I woke up with pink eye. I am a teacher and couldn't miss work so I went to Primecare after work. The lady at the desk was very snotty. I explained to her that I just started a new job and I am insured but I do not have an insurance card, but I had a booklet with all of the information in it. She told me she would put have to call to verify that I have insurance and to fill out some paper work. On the paper work I had to put my employer's phone number and address and my address and phone number. I handed it back to her and she let me sign in to see a doctor. By this time I had already been there for about 20 min. Then I sat back down and waited for my turn. I noticed that people who had come in AFTER me were starting to be seen. Almost two hours later she finially called me and said that my insurance company was closed and that she could not verify that I was insured and tried to talk me into coming back tomorrow. I explained to her that this I am a teacher and CAN NOT miss work and that I had already been waiting TWO HOURS! She told me she needed a 1-800 number and so I called every co-worker to see if they had it. FInially someone gave it to me. She let me see a doctor and when I got out she presented me with a bill that was almost FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!! I asked her if she had called the number to verify my insurance and she said she didn't have time and to sit back down and to wait. I waited another 40 min and went up again and nicely asked if she had been able to call. She said no and that she would look it up on the computer. Why she didn't do this sooner I don't know. Anyways I ended up having to spend almost $400 for a three min doctor visit. Oh and the medical assistant if that is even what he is was asking the doctor if It was possible for my tonsiles to grow back and if I don't have tonsils could I have strep throat. Maybe I am just picky but I expect the medical people who are working on me to know what the Hell they are talking about. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!!! The office lady was rude, the medical assistant was uneducated and the doctor was wonderful, but only spend 2 min with me.

This place is racist. My daughter waited over 2 hour for a severe eye injury but yet all the Hispanic people who came in were seen right away. The front desk people are rude and talk badly about patients right in front of everyone. Not to sound racist myself but they need staff that speak proper English and are fair to all patients. This place is despicable.
