Italian over Mexican on a recent visit to Yuma, Arizona, I found Rocky's Pizzeria & Italian Foods in a simple Google search.

Ordering a 12" medium "Special Pizza" by phone, Mario advised that they were closing in 15 minutes. "That's okay," I advised - "my hotel is only 5 minutes away."

Peppers, onions, mushrooms, pepperoni, sausage and olives - the pizza was a bit pricey at $15.00 for a 12-inch pie, but I didn't gig on pricing as I was a visitor to Yuma and unfamiliar with local custom. My kids, though, will tell you I'm just "cheap."

Great tasting pizza - very flavorful. It tasted just as good for breakfast the next morning. Plenty of meat and vegetables, along with cheese and sauce. No issues whatsoever.

As for Mario, he was friendly and polite. We spoke for a few minutes and he even welcomed me to Yuma.

I would visit Rocky's Pizzeria again.

I gotta tell you guys, this place for a pizza joint is great italian style food, the Lasagne dinner is great n the met balls are pretty tasty too, this is one good place to go when you need something that is gonna fill you up and taste good.
