We purchased a Furman generator 9 days ago. It stopped working 3 days ago on Christmas Eve. Oil had leaked out due to a faulty gasket or a cracked head. We returned to the Yuma store and were told by the young man in Customer Service that there are no returns on opened merchandise. How were we to determine that the generator didn't work if we hadn't opened the box. A very stupid policy. Furthermore, the customer service person suggested that we get it repaired and sell the unit to someone else and come back to purchase a Honda generator. That was very unethical of him to recommend that we sell a flawed unit to someone else. How deep do the lack of ethics run in that store and the organization as a whole? He seemed to lack any interest in our plight, stating that we had a very expensive door stop. Wow!!!! What a hugely disappointing experience. We will never buy anything from Sportsman Warehouse in Yuma AZ or anywhere else
