Northwestern Middle School serves the educational needs of more than 800 students and offers classes from grades six through eight. The school offers instruction in science, language arts, English, mathematics, health education, social studies, arts and crafts, music and physical education. It also offers classes in Spanish, creative writing, computer application, forensic science, technical writing and banking. The school provides various special education classes for students with special needs. It offers extracurricular activities, including band, chorus, drama and yearbook.
