This business has a great ambiance and EXCELLENT food. They make almost everything there fresh from scratch. The croutons they use in their salads are SOOOOO good it should be a sin. The service there was really good as well - polite wait staff and on top of things even when it got a little busy.

Muddy Misers is the best place to eat in Zanesville. Once you eat the fantastic food in the great setting you'll find it hard to eat at any other restaurant in the area. Steak and seafood are fantastic, have never been disappointed once. Great food, beer, setting and service. Stop at Weasel Boy Brewery while you're at it for a fantastic evening or afternoon.

This place, situated right on the river, is what you'd call "comfy". It's small, but has outdoor seating when the weather holds that makes it especially nice. It has really great ambience and strong service. The menu is fine, mostly seafood, and cost above average. It's a romantic place, but doubles nicely as a good, intimate neighborhood bar. I drove 40 minutes to dine at it after a visit some years ago and it was still very charming and the food was excellent.
