Hillis and Small rent from Atty Emily Straung Tarbert whom is also a G.A.L. ( Gaurdian Ad Litem ,) and a HORRIBLE ONE AT THAT. As other local attorneys have expressed that same opinion of her. This woman is the POSTER CHILD OF MORAL VALUES, N.O.T.!!! Her now husband was legally married when she started dating him, as she was well aware of. Also, she is very one sided, shows extreme favoritism to whichever party looks the part and has MORE MONEY, and could care less about a childs best interest. Shes comes off as a complete emotionless cyborg. Which almost makes you wish someone would tickle her just to see if she can actually smile or will it cause her face to crack. She has no business being anyones G.A.L. and I highly recommend that the court appoints her as your childs G.A.L. that you petition the court requesting someone else like Susan McDonald..

I had seen Susan E. Small for a family law matter. She was very unprofessional as a lawyer. She had told me I needed to see someone cause I was a nut. I would never be able to do anything bout my case. Well to her surprise I didn't need her at all and won my case. I have seen these people twice for cases and told I wouldn't win. I did win without them.

Office staff contacts clients via e-mail with their own personal e-mail accounts with instructions and/or letters from the attorney. There is no indication that it truly is from the attorney handling the matter, no letterhead, and is an absolutely insecure way of corresponding with clients. Obviously, this law firm doesn't realize that e-mail from anyone goes through hundreds of servers and thousands of prying eyes, before reaching it's destination. Shame on you Susan Small.
