I went in to the shop with an older bike, and did not have a lot of money to spend. I knew it needed new tires. The repairman suggested a tune up, but wasn't clear why I would need to pay an extra $40 for that service. I told him I could only afford new tires, tubes, etc. Sixty dollars later, I got my bike back with brand new tires. Upon the first ride, I knew something was wrong. It was not a "true wheel." I have little "common knowledge" on bikes and confused, I called the repairman. I was upset that the bike was not in working condition. He wanted me to come back into the shop and pay more money for the repairs. He was not apologetic and became increasingly frustrated, insinuating this problem was of my own fault. He should have informed me, prior to the $60 I spent, the bike would most likely not perform its' basic function. I will not return to this shop.
