Established in 1951, Camp Glen Arden is a residential summer camp for girls that are situated in Tuxedo, N.C. and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The camp organizes special events, such as the watermelon wash and peanut drop, Christmas on the 25th of June and July, the swim meet, horse show, giant relay, mardi gras and council fire on Friday nights. Its evening campers are involved in camp-wide activities, including programs like capture the flag, camper talent show, the red-blue basketball game and counselor hunt.
