The service here was so nice and helpful. I sold them a coin collection i had inherited few years ago. They went through all the coins and picked out 2 rare ones and paid me alot for those 2. I had taken my coins to at least three different places and each place offered me a quarter of what they were worth and one place on the actually told me they charge to look at stuff before making an offer????? Those places acted like they are hot stuff and it is probably because of all the tv shows out there going to their heads.Anyway, I had googled for more places that deal with coins and finally found Gold & Jewelry Direct which was located not too far from the Bestbuy electronics store I go to. I stopped by with my collection and the employee, i think his name was Jon, was very friendly and he looked at my collection and offered me way more than the last few guys did. He didn't even try to charge me for looking at the stuff! I plan on going back when I have more, just goes to show that honesty and a little professionalism goes a long way.... thank you!

I came to Gold & Jewerly Direct wanting a personal experience without the added stress of commercial retail jewerly salesman pressuring me to make hasty decisions regarding buying my fiance's engagement ring. They took her time finding the perfect stone for me at the price I needed. They refused to allow sub-par diamonds to even be considered in presenting to their clients. They educated me on diamond grading and why prices Can vary so drastically. Put simply Gold & Jewerly Direct made buying an engagement ring more relaxed than I thought possible. I wanted to cash in some gold and went to 3 places to check prices. Gold and Jewelry direct was the 2nd place I attended but they offered a price that was 30% better than the next best priced place. They didn't pressure me there and when I came back, they honored the pricing. While I was there I noticed a ring I knew my wife would love. I used part of the money I received from them and got a great deal. They were patient, friendly, and didn't rush or pressure me at all. I left with spending money and made my wife's day.

My wife is picky, so when I went in to buy my wife a nice piece of jewelry for her birthday, I really appreciated the patient and experienced guidance that I felt I got from the staff. They were happy to pull things out from their back store inventory that weren't on display and they took their time explaining the details of every diamond in every ring. I ended up ordering a three stone diamond ring which I asked them to send to me in Albany ( I was only in Chicago for a weekend). They said the order would probably take a two weeks to complete, but within 10 days, the box arrived in the mail. When I finally gave the ring to my wife, her face lit up and she started tearing up. She loves the ring. She now wears it every day and loves that everyone compliments her on the design and the brilliance of the diamonds
