Dr. Shephard is very smart, and he really tries to explain my medical situation in terms I can understand. That's not easy, given the gap between his knowledge and mine, since no doctor can spend all day with one patient. I appreciate his calm, gentle demeanor, and I know I am in good hands with him and his team.
One negative comment about the practice in the upper office: more vigilance could be paid to proper mask-wearing by staff, even those handling phone calls. Lower office seems much more careful about this.

My family and I have been seeing Dr Shepard for many years for routine colonoscopy and other matters. We are very pleased with his medical care. Excellent human being and excellent doctor.

He listen to my concerns and ordered some test to be done. I really appreciate this. We go to the doctors to get healed and when you walk out not knowing what just happen from your visit , well that’s very discouraging. I walked out feeling positive and understood my type of care and what was going to happen.

I have been his patient for many years and he is an excellent GI specialist. Always explained the symptoms and what needs to be done; procedure, diet or medication.

Always attentive and nice. He always explains the findings in a way I can understands. Great doctor and human being.

My first contact with Dr. Shepard was on the phone due to Covid-19; he was friendly and listened to me.

Dr Sheppard is very caring and take very serious his patients health, he did my exams and when he got my results immediately let me know about it! Excellent Dr.

Dr. Shepard was very caring and soft spoken. When he was notified that I was hospitalized due to bleeding he came right over to speak to me and my husband and let us know what would have to be done if it didn't stop. Fortunately it did stop. I was very pleased with with how informative he was when answering my questions. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is in need of a doctor due to stomach problems.

He was attentive, listen to my issues and gave me his advice on what I need to do. He is great!!

One issue- he said someone would call prob that day to schedule procedure. 3 business days later and even after leaving a message no one has called. That’s only concern.

Following a hospital stat, I met virtually with Dr. Shephard. He had reviewed my records, was clear in next steps, and listened to my questions.
