I had the pleasure of working with Denise and her staff a few weeks ago at my wedding. They did a fantastic job! They were extremely attentive and efficient. The wait staff made sure that I always had a full drink and that the bar never had a long line. They were extremely polite and made sure each guest was offered cocktail hour snacks, cake, and a refill. I will always recommend this crew when looking for polite and professional wait staff. They even saved some hors d'oeuvres for the Bride and Groom to eat after pictures were taken (Thank You again). It was such a pleasant experience working with A Touch of Elegance!

Denise was absolutely outstanding! The entire time I was working with her up until our wedding day, she made me feel so at ease with everything. She listened to all of my requests and ideas, and she made them all come to life! The day of the wedding, I felt like she was more than just our wedding coordinator, she was more like my friend! She made sure I was enjoying myself and was happy, was constantly hugging me and congratulating us, and she made the entire wedding venue look AMAZING! It was so much more than I imagined. She made all my decorations and tables look full, elegant and beautiful! My whole family loved her! Someone even asked if she was my aunt or something because of the way they saw us laughing and talking together. Denise, I can not thank you enough for EVERYTHING and making our wedding day absolutely PERFECT! Me, Brian and our entire family and friends appreciate everything you and your staff did for us! We were very fortunate that our children found Denise and her wonderful servers to help us with our 50th anniversary party. From beginning to end everything was perfect. Denise answered all my questions as we were preparing for the party, provided us with detailed lists of what her services would provide and what we would need to purchase for the bar. She provided decorations for the serving tables that corresponded with our theme and arranged the buffet table beautifully. Her servers were so polite and efficient that we never worried about anything from the time they began setting up until we left the banquet hall completely spotless. All of the food was packed up and read for us to take home. We were able to enjoy our guests without a single worry. Working with Denise was like talking to a trusted friend.

Touch of Elegance set up our parish dining room for my Mom's funeral lunch and I could not have been happier with their service. They arrived on time and transformed the room. The skirted buffet/dessert tables looked lovely and were maintained throughout lunch. The three wait staff were attentive, but unobstrusive. The cleanup was incredible. When the staff left, the kitchen was spotless, tables cleared, leftover food packaged and all the garbage removed. They truly took care of everything and made it possible for family to visit guests. I would not hesitate to recommend Denise and Touch of Elegance for any event.

We originally contacted a Touch of Elegance to assist us with a bartender and servers for our Winter Wonderland themed cocktail party. After we booked the party, and as we thought about the layout, we wanted to enclose our outdoor patio with a tent and have the bar area outside with cocktail tables, lighting and decorations. Denise visited our home and made some amazing suggestions on how to make the outside area look loungey, fun and festive. Denise took care of all the details for the outdoor area procurring the bar, cocktail glasses, heat source, etc. The morning of of the event, she and her son set up the tent, bar, heaters, lights, tables, decorations and helped with the indoor appetizer and dessert tables. The night of the event, the staff came early and helped set up food, drinks and the mood. Although I had set up much of the indoor decorations, Denise brought some of her own items (mirrors for the votive candles, snow flakes confetti for the cocktail tables, snowflake lights for the bar, etc. (at no extra cost by the way)) that gave the party a "touch of elegance" that I could not have pulled off myself. As our guest arrived, they were greeted with wonderful service. I was having so much fun, I didn't even think to take pictures of how everything looked. The party lasted longer than we expected because no one wanted to leave! Denise and Debbie were such good sports staying an extra hour and making sure everything was picked up, cleaned up, put away before they left even though guests still remained. The entire evening was exactly as I had pictured it. Denise and I joked about how she was my BFF during the few weeks before the party as I called her constantly as we worked on details. But apart from a business perspective, she took a personal interest in our family during a difficult time as we had a death in the family in between the time we first contacted her to the time of the party. Denise was highly professional, competent and fun! We are looking forward to hosting our next party with A Touch of Elegance.

Denise met with me a few times and worked with me and my outdoor venue. We had to move the reception inside due to cold and she warned me we might have to move the bartender inside due to wind (but we didnt). They had everything setup, they cleaned up, they had everything covered, ready to go, worked with my other vendors. I mean there wasn't a thing that went wrong because Denise and her staff knew what they were doing. EVERYONE commented on them. Here is some of what was said:"The wait staff is great! I hardly noticed they were there but nothing was ever out of place!""Who ever is doing all this work to set up and arrange is amazing!""Your service people really know how to work this place! I never would have figured this all out!" (layout of tables and such)"WE loooooooove the bartender!" (yes this person was probably cut off later).She did warn me that they might have to cut people off later at night and they wouldn't do a last call so everyone wouldn't rush the bar. I was happy with this as it's better for everyone not to rush the bar right before driving off! Especially the ones who need to be cut off.In the end, we ever have a big event again I will use them. :)THANKS GUYS! You made my wedding day hassle free. AND THAT was the best thing you did for me.

Denise and her service was awesome! I live in southern california and had to plan our 30 year high school reunion in the Chicago area and could not have done it without her. She always made tome to meet with me wjhen I was in town and she would make herself availabale by phone during the planning stages, but it was the event might where her talents truly sparkle.It is as if I was a guest in her home. Every detail was taken care from managing the guestlist, collecting funds, working with the wait staff and even taking care of payment to the site where we held the event. She and her son (the outstanding DJ) got there early for set up and took down all by night's end. She even provided a disc with photos to memorialize the intire evening. I would recommend her very highly!

Denise and her staff did an amazing job keeping my wedding going all night long. They are very professional and they stay behind the scene which makes its feel like "things just happen". I really appreciated that especially since the venue was small. I would highly recommend A Touch of Elegance to anyone that wants to have an amazing party. Denise is so great to work with and listens to what you have to say.

As an owner of a party rental store, I love to refer my customer to companies I can trust! "A Touch of Elegance" has been my waitstaff of choice for years. It's great when I receive thank-you notes after an event with customers who are pleased with their event and their experience with "A Touch of Elegance". When they state that their kitchen was cleaner than before the party, I know things went well!

I had a party for my employees at my home. Denise was amazing. She helped me set up, serve and clean. My home looked better then before she got there. I will definitely be calling her next time I have a party, not only for that service but for help with planning it. Thank you Denise!

Denise and her staff organized, planned, decorated, and executed our entire party from beginning to end. They showed up and set up our entire first floor of our house for over 4 hours, and then brought all of the glassware, tables, chairs, and equipment for our party in advance. They are extremely detail oriented and it clearly shows how prepared and experienced they are with all of their suggestions. Denise and her staff prepped all the food and the drinks as well as took pictures for us during the beginning, middle, and end. We could not (and would not) have done it without her help. They stayed afterwards to clean everything up and came back the next day to pick up their equipment and drop off the pictures. Very awesome all around, we are definitely going to use her services again and recommend her to our entire neighborhood.

Denise did a fantastic job as the "DOC", day of coordinator for our daughter's wedding. Her expertise as a caterer was evident in helping us with all the details of setting up, serving, presentation etc. We were able to sit back and relax and totally enjoy the day.

Denise, I know I told you how wonderful your contributions were in making our party great, but I want you to know that it really did make it a totally different experience for me! Thank you so much for your generosity in sharing so much more than what we paid for! Your decorations and your eye for the decorating really set the tone for the whole party. Just wanted to thank Denise and her staff, Lisa and Nina for outstand job they did for our party. They came in and took control of everything. We were able to just relax and enjoy our party. And the clean up was amazing! It is very refreshing to see a company with employees with such great customer service skills and follow up. A Touch of Elegance did an outstanding job as the event planner. The servers were professional and polite, the decorations and set up was beautiful and working with Denise Murphy was a pleasure. As Ms. Murphy said, I would be able to sit back and enjoy my party because A Touch of Elegance would handle everything...and they did with tremendous creativity and excellence. I would recommend their services to anyone.

On 7/23/11 our daughter was to be married in our backyard garden but we awoke to flood waters surrounding our home. We had a "plan B" for rain, but not for flooding. I called Denise & she was amazing at calming my nerves. Luckily a new venue was found for the wedding & the race was on. Denise came over to our home & with family & friends packed up EVERYTHING for the new wedding location. Later when I arrived for the ceremony, I was overcome with emotion as to the beautiful job created by Denise & her staff--The tables, buffet, bar, her personal touch with the sweet table--even my own decorations were lovingly placed around the room. Denise and her staff went above & beyond the call of duty to make our daughters day BEAUTIFUL from start to finish. The DJ was great & had us on the dance floor forever, & the bartenders very professional.We never had to worry about anything because Denise and her team took care of everything. Thank you Denise

Denise and A Touch of Elegance played a huge part in the success of our wedding by providing: setup, clean up, servers, bartender and DJ services. We almost didn't have a wedding because our original venue was rained out with 6in of water. Denise and her crew came in, took charge and created a beautiful wedding at the new venue in only 6 hours!

Denise and A Touch of Elegance played a huge part in the success of our wedding by providing: setup, clean up, servers, bartender and DJ services. But they also provided so much more. Denise was very easy to work with. She was willing to meet with us multiple times to go over every detail to ensure things turned out exactly how we wanted. She "got" our vision. They accepted our deliveries at the venue. They set up everything for the ceremony and reception. They setup food and dessert buffet tables, which they also decorated beautifully. They set up the bar, the music, the flowers and all of our details. They kept everything moving like clockwork, we didn't even have to think about it. We were able to enjoy the night with our guests, rather than stressing over the details and having to micromanage. At the end of the night they packaged up all the extra food, alcohol and our belongings. A Touch of Elegance provides such a great value and service and we are so happy we chose them.

I was the wedding coordinator for a wedding in December that wanted to serve ethnic food for dinner in order to add a personal flair to their wedding. The problem was finding a caterer that would just do staffing in the budget that we were looking to work with. A Touch of Elegance not only worked within our budget but had above and beyond service that really and truly spoke to their character as a company. They were so agreeable and accommodating to our needs, willing to work with pretty much whatever we threw their way, and were incredibly nice and hospitable to the wedding guests on the day of the event. I would highly recommend them to any and all brides to be that are getting married in Chicago-land area!

Denise and the crew from Touch of Elegance were outstanding - from our initial phone call to the end of the party everything was handled perfectly. We had a back yard neighborhood Turkey Bowl - and the food and tables were arranged perfectly - they set up what looked like the ultimate tailgate - just what we asked for. Delivered within our budget! They were very accommodating to each and everyone of our guests. They set up cleaned up and they were very focused on all of the details. It is not a matter of if we will use them again - it is a matter of when. Thanks for everything Touch of Elegance!
