Provided by YP.comI cannot express how much I needed a moving company. Everything was a hot mess. I could not fit everything in boxes. I had some for donation. Others to sell and more to store versus take. I was just so overwhelmed and the idea of having a stressful day of loading a truck with all our stuff and driving it across state lines for hours long of a drive honestly worried me. I wanted to hire movers and provide our own truck and made an arrangement with Alliance to find us movers who could just do all the heavy lifting. I didn't want to wait for the truck to arrive so that's why I opted to have my own. Anyways we came up with an estimate of about $1,400 because my weight came to about 4,500 lbs and I needed about 4/5 movers. The guys they picked were such sweethearts and even walked my husband through how they disassembled our furniture so he could reassemble it at the new location. We had movers in loading and unloading but just in case the others didn't know they taught us some tricks. Alliance did a great job of picking a reputable company to help, I just wish I remember the name of the other guys!

Provided by YP.comMe and my sister were hopeless when it came to packing. We broke so much stuff because we didn't pack fragile things carefully enough. So we decided lifting our furniture and assembling things would be a bad idea. So she got the idea of using a moving company. Alliance was the first ad we saw and we called them up. Lucky for us they were perfect for us, and were equipped with everything we needed. Living in one place all our lives we collected a LOT of stuff. Alliance promised us respectful movers and a separate team of packers we could trust with our stuff. They provided credentials for movers so we really could put our faith in them. The moving day was exact, the 14th. We had a team of about 3 people. They were so sweet and helpful. They taught us little tips and trick to save space in the truck. They even taught us that we could look up the disassembly of our furniture to save a little extra time and money. We already had our two desks disassembled and bookcases taken apart. We left our beds because they were too heavy. But we ended up paying $200 less than our quote because of how much less the movers had to do and because our packed things in our own car did not count toward the weight of our boxes in the truck. Thanks for the tips and tricks Alliance!

Provided by YP.comAlliance did a truly fantastic job with my move. Being a single mother of two little boys isn't easy. Especially when packing and moving. So I wanted a moving company who could save me a lot of stress and hassle of actually moving. Alliance promised me a group of 5 movers who would disassemble, carry, and load all without my help. I couldn't even be present for the move because I couldn't let my boys fly alone to D.C, so I really needed a reliable hard-working team. But again at a reasonable price. I talked with Matt, and told him what I needed and we worked out an agreement based on my furniture weight of about 3500 lbs. Including a team in both states and a truck with fast as possible delivery. My final total came to $2750. And that was after he gave me a military discount. I can't believe the lengths he went to, to get me a good price. If there's anything that deserves attention its a company that goes above and beyond for its customers. It was the sales rep's care that let me put my faith in the movers. I wasn't going to be there for the pickup window so I had a friend let them in and supervise. She said they were courteous and got a lot done quickly. I was only without my furniture for a week exactly before the truck got here. I really cant thank Alliance enough for their help. Truly, I'm grateful

Provided by YP.comI put my phone number, e-mail, and general info on a site that connects you with movers A friend of mine suggested it as a way to see who would give the best price without having to look up a bunch of movers yourself. For my 2 bedroom apartment in the city I was given quotes from $2100 to about $2700. Most figured my furniture would come out to roughly 3000 lbs. I just really wanted to work with a good company. I have heard and read way too many horror stories about furniture being held until a hidden fee was paid or some other nightmare. I finally got a call from an Alliance sales rep who gave me the option of a binding estimate of about $2300. The price was reasonable considering he offered to let me have my own truck without sharing. They gave my bid to Classic. A month later the first team got to my house on 12/26 and they were really hard-working and respectful. They even laid plastic on the carpet to prevent staining. I asked one of the guys about it and he said its mandatory for each move. I didn't even know because the movers I used in the past didn't even bother. They got to the new place around noon on the 7th. Alliance did a fantastic job

Provided by YP.comAlliance actually was the one to tell me how to come up with an inventory list. I called them first but with no list or even possible estimate my quote wouldn't be accurate. The sales rep said I could estimate just on the number of people and size of my home, but I wanted to be as close as possible. With a 2100 sq ft 3 bedroom he told me I was looking at about 2500. I made the inventory list and called back the next day and my price went up to 2700. The multiple desks, bookshelves, and bed frames that needed to be disassembled led to the raise in price. But I didn't mind as long as I found out first so I could budget instead of it seeming like a hidden cost later. I was aware that Alliance was a broker and I had a binding estimate. All Points Moving and Storage actually handled my move. They honored the estimate and the final price came out to what we agreed upon no hidden costs. But they did have some trouble when it came to loading the truck. They were a little slow. Taking multiple guys to lift a few boxes but hey, I would rather they err on the side of cautious. Other than that they did a good job. Came on the second day of the pickup window and managed to get everything loaded before day's end and were at the new address in two weeks as promised. All in all a good job.

Provided by YP.comFull Disclosure: Alliance is a broker. But they happen to be the best. At least in my opinion. I've had my fair share of moving nightmares in the past and Alliance really came through. I gave my number to one of those sites that connects you with movers so they could call and quote me. I've done it before and its annoying to have your phone blown up with movers but it really is effective in getting the best price. I got calls from about 4 places before them. Ranging from about $3400-$2400. The average estimate for my furniture weight came to 3,800 lbs. The price range was accurate but I was looking for the best deal with a reputable company. Spending a few extra hundred initially was worth it to me instead of having my items held until I paid a hidden cost at the end of my move like last time. A sales rep from Alliance, Matt, called me and quoted me for $2600. The price was reasonable considering he dropped a cost for me and agreed to having movers in both states. IL->NY. They gave my bid to Classic which they told me from the beginning and before I agreed he let me go online and look at both their reviews. A month later the first team got to my house at 1 p.m on the 5th of December and they were nothing but respectful. Laid plastic on the carpet. Carefully disassembled my furniture and loaded it into the large truck. I expected a few scuffs and scratches because I mean its bound to happen but if there were I don't notice any. I'm still not done unpacking even though they got to my NY address on the 21st. I really am happy with my decision to move with Alliance and I wanted to give them a little credit where it's due.

Provided by YP.comMy family and I had lived in the same 4 bedroom 2 story home for about 10 years. So as you can imagine we'd accumulated a lot of stuff. I called Alliance as soon as we had a house in Florida set up and we arranged for a group of movers, about 4, to come by and load a truck. They agreed to provide a truck and driver as well as a second team to help unload. I went on a separate website to calculate my quote based on the size of my house and the distance traveled. Alliance beat that quote by about $200. The sales rep walked me through how they got at that price, which discounts I could apply and told me what I needed to do before the movers got there. It truly was full service. She could even be reached after the initial deal to clear up any issues I had. Exemplary

Provided by YP.comI don't have much time but I wanted to thank Alliance really quickly. They did a lot for me in terms of taking on my job last minute. My truck driver bailed on us a few days before our move and we couldn't do anything about it and no one wanted to take us on without charging exorbitant late fees. Alliance swooped in offering only a $200 rush fee and got everything locked and loaded. Thanks again

Provided by YP.comI was just truly impressed with the movers. I booked my move about a month in advance with Alliance just so there wouldn't be any "rush" fees. The movers got there on the first day of the pickup window, which was just the start of them being awesome. The team of about 3 guys showed up around noon on the first day of my window. I really was not expecting much, just a group of guys who can lift heavy boxes. Mostly because of how affordable it was. Alliance came through entirely. They provided tape and extra boxes, even helping repack certain boxes because they were too heavy and would throw off the balance of the truck. They loaded the truck based on weight. Which they weighed individually to get an exact quote for the price per pound. The guys were quick, courteous and just all around respectful. They provided a great service. As well as move everything in time. Everything was in place on time and I couldn't thank them enough. Delays are the worst part and I didn't have to live long without my bed.

Provided by YP.comRecently, my brother and I moved out of our parents house and into an apartment across state lines for school. We didn't have much furniture-wise between the two of us but it was our first time packing for a move so we called Alliance for help. They sent a small team of 2 people to help us pack up and prepare the moving team. They provided boxes and taught us techniques of packing to ensure the safety of our belongings as well as ease when it came to unloading and unpacking. Valuable or fragile items could be placed between stacks of clothes to save money on extra wrapping. They taught us a lot and the movers were super chill and careful with everything. They did a great job

Provided by YP.comI moved out of my parents place to attend the University of Arizona and I couldn't keep anything at home because there was no space. And I also was not down to lift my huge bed up flights of stairs to replace the one in my dorm. SO I called Alliance. They advertised the ability to find storage and I got a bulk deal with movers so I saved a bunch. The sales rep agreed to give me a set pick up and move in day instead of a pickup window. I had a small team of 2 guys who pretty much did everything. Totally worth the 2100. We had the truck stop first at a storage facility in Oregon to drop off my larger furniture items and a few boxes. Alliance even got me a discount on the storage unit.

Provided by YP.comI have moved without a team in the past and I just can't express how much easier it is with a group of movers. Definetely worth it. The packing we did ourselves to save money and my own peace of mind. with everything packed safely a\the movers caame on the 2nd and loaded a truck they provided themselves. I truly am impressed with Alliance. The group of 4 guys were efficient but did not sacrifice the safetl\y of my things. They were still careful and did not try to take on too much individually. For example, my husband's large oak desk needs a few people to lift and they planned out which exit they would take and had all of them to lift it rather than struggle with just 2. Everything was loaded safely and arrived 11 days later in Dover ready to unload with a new team. Alliance really knocked it out of the park for us and I just wanted to take the time to thank them

Provided by YP.comI don't have much time and I rarely leave reviews but the mvers really impressed me. I had driven a truck myself in the past across state lines for my own move and there were dlays and it was just so difficult arriving and I was late by 3 days to my own house. that was amajor reason of why I chose to hire Alliance this time. I expected delays, difficulties moving, finding out my fridge wasn't enitrely defrosted, I expected something to go wrong. But it all went off without a hitch. They told me they would arrive in 10 days including the loading day and they were stopping at other places along the way. And they still made it on time! I am just so pleased with the professional courtesy.

Provided by YP.comI had to move out of my home in Dallas for my husband's new job in Chicago. We didn't have much time less than a month to pack and relocate. So I hired Alliance to help the process. We planned on being there on move out day in the Dallas home and then delivery was estimated to be about two weeks. So we planned to drive up and be a few days early in the new place. The movers themselves were courteous and careful with all the boxes and heavy furniture. They even got my fridge in the back of the truck safely. The movers arrived exactly two weeks after they left. Bringing the final moving time to 15 days. Everything arrived safely and on time. Alliance did exactly what they promised in the agreed upon time frame.

Provided by YP.comI did not want to actually lift my gigantic couch. Sad to say, but the heaviness of our furniture was my final straw, so I hired a moving company. I called a couple for quotes and finally settled on a binding estimate of about 2400 with Alliance. The deal was they would provide movers for both states and a truck. We just had to pack and unpack. They handled everything and our price was no where near over. I didn't have to lift a single thing and the mpvers were quickk and very careful. I could not be more grateful for the easy experience. Totally worth the cost

Provided by YP.comI had Alliance help me move as well as pack. I just thought for the money I might as well get a whole deal. The packers arrived about 2 days before the first day of my pickup window and helped me get everything into the boxes they provided. It truly was full service move. After they had everything packed, taped, and labeled the movers loaded the truck they provided as well as the driver and got everything done for us. I pretty much got to sit back and do nothing. The truck got to the new location in about 10 days and nothing was damaged. Couldn't have asked for more!

Provided by YP.comMy ever expanding family and I needed to move from our small home in Fairhope, Alabama to a larger place in Montana for my husband's new job. We have young children so arranging babysitting and then carting them halfway across the country would just be too much of a hassle. So I decided movers would be a better choice. We booked Alliance to pick up on a specific day because I wanted to be there and a pickup window would be too difficult. The most important fact for me was that the movers be quick in delivery but still very careful with our belongings and I couldn't be happier with the service I got. I didn't have to do a thing but pack. we even had a team help us unload.

Provided by YP.comThey were really there when I needed them. I didn't hire them until late in my move and there was no extra charge for the semi-rushed schedule. I didn't think I needed movers until I saw exactly how much I brought. Long story short they really came together for me in the end. Fast, quick, polite, and willing to help

Provided by YP.comI had to go from Connecticut all the way to California. I didn't initially plan on using a mover but as I packed I realized that over the years we had collected a lot of junk in this house! There was just so much. Even with storage we'd fill a truck. And the cost of drivng a truck that distance combined with the amount of effort it would take to move everything in and out of that truck, moving by ourselves was just not worth it. I called Alliance first just as a tester for a quote. I saw an ad somewhere and the name just stuck. I spoke with a woman originally and she gave me the quote of about $2500 if my weight was accurate. I accepted on the spot and agreed to a binding estimate. My weight was verified by the mover come move out day. And someone called to doublecheck everything was in order about a wekk before. They were just so attentive. I mean 2 grand is a lot of money but it really is worth the price. Our movers were hilarious and hard-working. An awesome combination. Everything got loaded in about 5 hours and we got our own truck (no customer sharing), but provided by alliance. Everything traveled safely and arrived on time to LA. We just finished unloading the truck with our second set of movers and everything looks great and in tact. Couldn't thank Alliance enough!

Provided by YP.comI called Alliance about 2 months before my move. We agreed that for my amount to move I would need about 3 movers in both states, whom they would provide. About a week before move out day I got a call asking if my amount set to bring had changed. We found I had more than I initially intended. So he told me I would might need another mover and more space in the truck. I decided to use the extra mover and she gave me a second estimate which was not much more than originally planned. Honestly, I was a little worried it would take longer but there was no issue. The guys were so fast and they really had an understanding of what they were doing. So professional! They were all wearing matching tee's and they worked really hard and efficiently. I had all the boxes on the first floor ready to go. I packed clothes and valuables separately to prevent issues and labeled the,. They were good about handling those labeled "FRAGILE" with care. Very professional and quick. They stayed very close to my original 2 grand budget. I saved a lot of money with them considering my final quote came to $2030.25
