Incredible food and atmosphere! We were traveling here in the off season and did not have to wait for a table. After the sun had set, more patrons arrived and had to wait at the bar to be seated. We ate at sunset and the view was amazing. I would travel back to Atlantic Beach just to eat here again! Yummy! I have the snow crab pot and it was delicious and the freshest crab like you can only get at the beach. Hubby had the grouper over penne that he could not stop raving about. We have three kids and not only do they have a fairly priced kids menu, they were extremely kid friendly providing coloring pages and crayons. Highly recommend to anyone traveling in the area.

Had a great dining experience. Order the surf and turf and is was delicious. We had the Tortuga Dip for appetizer and it was very tasty. Dinner on the outside patio gave a great backdrop for dinner. The slow pace mentioned in other reviews was welcome, after all, we are on vacation.

What a great site. We sat overlooking the ocean, with brown pelicans flying overhead, and it was warm & comfortable, not HOT, as it was inland.

Casual beach atmosphere and great food. Their service was very good and the view of the ocean was wonderful.

Dine by the Sea & Eat Great Seafood. The food is so amazing and romantic. One last tip: order the signature cornbread--it's a treat.

Our waitress was delightful and gave us personal attention so we felt pampered. No wonder, this is our go-to spot for beach-side dining and culinary bliss. Follow your meal with a stroll on the beach and you'll know what I mean. The Crab's Claw's like a sea cruise without the rock n' roll deck. And you don't have to dress for dinner. Casual's just fine.

Oh, I should mention that the food's superb--my salmon was cooked to delicious perfection. It was great having a choice of grilled or blackened and being asked how I wanted it cooked. The medium rare I requested was spot on. My honey raved about his crab-cake sandwich--he said it was heavy on the crab and light on the breading. I begged a bite--and he was right. We've had the cocoanut shrimp appetizer before and it rocks.

If you're a romantic, like me, nothing's more atmospheric than dining by the sea. That's why my honey and I fell in love with the Crab's Claw. Sitting on the deck gives you a seaside ring seat to all the fascination of the beach. Kite surfers, volleyball games, seagulls, pelicans flying in formation, leaping dolphins and -if the timing's right--a beautiful Crystal Coast sunset. The waves rolling in and out. The Carolina Blue sky. So relaxing. Sigh.

Their mahi mahi sandwich was amazing!!! Great service. Great views. Will definitely be coming back!!!!

Great place for an afternoon lunch on the beach. Ice cold beer and great food. Love the steamed shrimp. Despite the crowd on a beautiful fall Saturday we were able to get an umbrella table on the deck. Staff is very attentive.

Great food and drink prices are very reasonable!!! Delicious salads with a choice of fabulous dressings that you won’t find anywhere else! Couldn't ask for a better view, upstairs dining right on the ocean! Definitely a favorite spot for me and the family!!

Excellent Margarita, excellent crab dip! Lobster bisque was very yummy and the bacon wrapped scallops very good too. Dessert was the "Shark Fin" enough to share, very big. Always love the view too! Others in our group had the salad with shrimp and Fish dishes. Son had a basket of fries-very good too. No food left at our table! :)

Stopped here for lunch on Saturday afternoon with some family that was in town, all had excellent experiences. Food was great, sat on balcony outside with a great view, and service was good. Had the Cuban sandwich which although not as flat as it should be it was delicious, family had crab cake, tuna sandwich, chicken sandwich - all were great. Also suggest a mojito

The food was very good. I had the fried oyster basket special, and it was delicious. My friend said that the sweet potato fries were the best he had had in a long time, and the steamed clams were great, and the broth they came in made us order more bread for dipping. The service was good, not fast, but with such a location why should it be.

There were 5 people in my party. We enjoyed this place better that any place in the 11 years we have been going to Morehead City. Great views of the ocean. Reservation would be best but who cares, sit at the bar view the ocean while you wait. The food is great. The service was exceptional. Not a fancy place. There is no AC. But eat out side and enjoy the view. Great place.

We’ve been coming to Pine Knoll Shores for almost 20 years and this is the 1st time we went to Crab Claws. We had a party of 14 and no one had one single complaint about their meals. It was a little while getting our meal (not really that long) but we had 3 children but we went out and walked on the board walk and watched the ocean so that was not a real problem, just more fun for the little ones ! Pricing was comparable to other restaurants but the food superior ! The service was very good and very attentive to our needs. A ++++++++++++ all around !

One of the best places for seafood in Atlantic Beach! It is a Caribbean seafood so it can be a little bit spicy, but full of flavor! Nothing is fried here either which is a plus. Great location and gorgeous view of the ocean and beach. We came here for our 4 year anniversary and the waiter was so sweet in congratulating us. Great for a date night or casual lunch. Also if you are ever looking for catering Toni does an amazing job at taking care of her customers!

Awesome service from Laura! Food was fantastic too. We had bacon wrapped scallops, lobster bisque, a steam pot and the blackened mahi fettuccini. The views are great as well.
