KitchenAid sent General Keysto...

KitchenAid sent General Keystone to repair my new $3,000 refrigerator that stopped working after 3 weeks. The repairman, Ivan, said that the refrigerator was a dud and that the circuit board was shot.



The repairman recommended that we get a new refrigerator since it was basically brand new, or if we really wanted he could replace the circuit board and try to repair it, but that could take weeks.



Obviously since the refrigerator was virtually new, we said to give us a new one. He told us he would report to his office and they would send our dealer the paperwork for a new replacement, and that we should contact our dealer in an hour. When we contacted our dealer, they had no clue what we were talking about. It turns out that not only did Ivan lie to us about getting a new refrigerator, but he reported to his office that we refused service. It now makes sense why Ivan insisted we didn't need a service report or any paperwork when we requested it.



When I spoke to the office people at General Keystone, they were rude, unhelpful, and didn't seem to care what Ivan said to me compared to what he reported to them. They basically said that my case is closed because I refused service, and to call them back if I want them to replace the circuit board. They claimed to have no way to help us get a new refrigerator, and suggested I contact the dealer.



Kitchen Aid should be ashamed of themselves for sending such a crappy repair service company to their customers. For a kitchen aid service repairman to outright lie and and be so deceptive is unbelievable.



Fortunately, the dealer where I purchased the refrigerator has gotten involved and has contacted Kitchen Aid's regional reps on my behalf regarding my situation and the experience I had with THEIR authorized repair people.



Hopefully Kitchen Aid will do the right thing and issue a RMA so I can get a new refrigerator.



And hopefully Kitchen Aid does the right thing by all its customers, and gets rid of General-Keystone as soon as possible.

Waited for an appointment for ...

Waited for an appointment for a week. man shows up smelled of cigarette smoke so bad i was getting sick. was not friendly and was rude only here under 5 minutes.started to leave with out saying anything about the washer had to draw it out of him.told me its not cost effective to fix to much labor involved they probablly will condem it . went back and to his office never filed a report . when whirlpool called he lied and told them i had someone take the machine apart so my warrenty is void. never had anyone come to fix it waited a week for them. do not use this company. HAD to give it 1 star or I could not submit review deserves NO STARS!!!!!!!

Waited all day for repairman t...

Waited all day for repairman to show up. Was in my house for 2 minutes. RUDE and CLASSLESS is an understatement. It's so sad that someone like this has a job when there are thousands of hardworking, reliable, good mannered people willing to do these jobs.
