Provided by YP.comThe Safari is a decent hotel in a fantastic downtown location. Most things worth seeing in Boise are within walking distance. The room was modest and roomy.

Provided by YP.comWe had a very nice stay here. The check-in was easy and there were homemade cookies for us. The location is fantastic with great walking access to downtown Boise. Our room was clean and spacious. I would recommend the king rooms as we were on the third floor with no one above us. Downtown Boise is alive with great restaurants and colorful bars. We will be staying here again.

Provided by YP.comI stay here with a friend at least twice a year and have never had a bad experience. The rooms are clean and pretty modern. Some look over main street with views of the Idanha Hotel. Saturday nights do get a little loud before 10pm in these rooms as all the cruisers take over downtown. This place is within walking distance of almost everything downtown. The Zoo, The Arena, BoDo, 8th Street, etc. Decent continental breakfast. Pool and Jacuzzi are clean and well maintained. Sauna, gym and laundry are a bonus.

Provided by YP.comWe stayed at the Safari Inn this week and were very impressed with everything about it. Our room on the 3rd floor was huge. It had a large dining room table with fridge, and microwave. My husband appreciated the safe in the room. Very convenient. The King size bed was very comfortable. The linens were soft and a good quality. Our view was nice. Between the buildings we could see the mountains and it was fun looking out at the historical buildings. We were in town to watch the Steelheads hockey game. This was a perfect location. We walked two blocks and we were there. Lots of restaurants around the arena to eat at. The pool wasn't opened yet but the hot tub looked very inviting. The staff was kind and helpful both at check-in and check-out. The free parking was very nice and we had our choice of places to park. The room and hotel was very clean. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you Safari Inn!

Provided by YP.comThe bathroom was very good and there were lots parking spaces available. The hotel is situated across the road from a car park in which there is held a local produce market every Saturday ... some great produce well worth a visit.

Provided by YP.comVery clean room. Downtown, not the best of neighborhoods but we found it to be quiet and it appears to be secure.

Provided by YP.comFirst time in Boise and found this affordable gem with no advance planning. Very comfortable room with nice amenities. Separate freezer a plus since traveling with food for a long road trip.
Easy walking to downtown, river, parks, and bike routes. Great dinner at The Fork followed by a soak in the hot tub. Breakfast is adequate and a major plus is the 1pm check out. Extra time to see more of the city before heading out.

Provided by YP.comThis hotel is such a great place to stay in downtown Boise - walking distance to all of the downtown core so close to shopping, music, great food, coffee shops and even an art gallery. The parking is very secure and free with your room - the staff is great and very friendly and helpful. The room had a refrigerator and microwave so if you were staying for a few days, you could prepare food in your room. Loved the room decor - very modern and comfortable. Room rates are excellent - why stay anyplace else?

Provided by YP.comWas back recently- i just think it is great value for the location, room quality, parking and price, and they are pet friendly!!!! had to raise them a star for that.

Provided by YP.comMy first thought was since this place is called Safari Inn it better take dogs. And it did. The pet charge was only $10 bucks (they are usually $25), the room only $70 and they gave me a $25 gift card with a list of about 50 places in town where I could use it. SWEET. Seriously, cool. The room was your average CLEAN motel room. I was extremely happy with the price and the downtown location. Oh and continental breakfast (the usual donuts & juice) went on till 10am which is huge for someone that usually goes to sleep around 4am.

Provided by YP.comI always stay here when I have to fly. My car is always safe there so I don't worry. I get a really good night sleep and it's close enough to walk to lots of great restaurants. The staff is always welcoming.

Provided by YP.comI would defiantly stay here again on future trips. My room was very clean, House keeping was super polite. My bed was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I forgot to check into my flight and went down to the office around 1130 pm the girl at the front desk, Amber was very helpful and polite and assisted me with the computer they have there in the lobby. There's also all kinds of things to do within walking distance from the hotel. This is the place to stay in Boise.

Provided by YP.comStayed at the Safari Inn for two nights. Rooms were clean. Property is in Downtown Boise, and the other hotels were charging double the rate. Breakfast was typical simple breakfast fair, nothing hot other than oatmeal. Staff were friendly, and I loved the giraffe in the lobby. Not luxurious, but affordable, especially if you want to spend money on other things while in town. Will definitely be going back.

Provided by YP.comI was pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel was. Free wifi, excellent staff. It was a very nice place to get an affordable room last minute. I would stay here again.

Provided by YP.comThe Safari Inn is a very reasonably priced and well-maintained hotel which is easy walking distance to all of downtown Boise where you'll have loads of restaurants to choose from and lots of fun walking and window shopping among many restored vintage buildings.
Staff exceptionally friendly. Hotel is always very fresh if a bit generic. Can't beat the location. Plenty of free parking. Have stayed there many times.

Provided by YP.comLocation and price are spot on. This is not a fancy hotel but is clean and accommodating. Parking spaces are a bit small but are free. Great location for hanging out downtown, hockey games, or concerts.

Provided by YP.comMy teen daughter & I stayed here. The room was large and clean, the price wasn't too bad and the location allowed us to walk around the very safe downtown at night. There is a pool with a jacuzzi, as well as a decent continental breakfast. I was so glad we lucked upon this hotel instead of some boring hotel away from downtown. We'll be back when we next go through Boise.

Provided by YP.comGreat downtown location, great price, dog friendly, very clean, quiet. Parking included which is great as it is hard to find nearby. Standard continental breakfast as the big chains, very basic. Thumbs down on the coffee, very watery. The District coffee nearby has great coffee, breweries, trader joes and beautiful hikes in the hills all nearby.
