I Believe he comes from a strong military background and he has a strait forward approach about things. He is there to fix your pain and your issues with your spine not hold your hand like a therapist... it’s sad to see some of the people’s responses on here being more personal hate then professional issues they had. I am glad I chose him as my Doctor and he has helped me through a large issue in my life cause of a car accident that was not my fault. Thank you Doctor Coe & to your staff as well.

I am very familiar with the work this doctor has done. I have been with my girlfriend several times during her visits to Doctor Coe. Susan has had three separate procedures done by Dr. Coe. She had the hump straightened in her back and has two other procedures to adjust due to complications from Wegeners disease. This doctor has been exemplary in his professionalism. Susan is a very difficult patient and has required expertise beyond just back surgery. Dr Coe is conversant on all of the issues not related to just surgery. He has kept all considerations about her condition in mind regarding her care. His work has given Susan eight years of vastly improved quality of life. He is a doctor who does care about his patients. Susan is not wealthy. She is on Medicare.

Doctor Coe has gone the extra mile at all times to deliver first rate care to me, regardless of his remuneration. Dr. Coe is considered to be one of the best in his field. I can attest to that. He has done great things to help me.

I also don't agree with some of the negative reviews of the staff. They were always helpful and competent. They were friendly both in person and over the phone. They also answered my many questions within one business day. What more could you ask for? In short, I would definitely recommend Dr. Coe and his staff to my family and friends.

Thank you for helping me with my injury. I respect you for being conscious and caring doctor. I saw this from day one when I came to your office for my injury. I would like to say this, "Among all the doctor's I have visited in the past for my injury you stand high." Although, I still carry some of this pain with me, I have confidence and trust on you that someday you will help me get rid of my pain. Thank you again, respectfully.

Dr. Coe checked up on me multiple times after surgery and throughout my recovery. He really is a sincere and caring person, I felt much supported throughout the process.

I am a Police Officer who was hurt on the job. I went through a year of pain, numbness and frustration before being referred to Dr. Coe by my Primary Care Physician. Dr. Coe is direct and to the point. He's busy people, so don't get offended by his short demeanor. Focus on the fact that he's an expert in his field, extremely knowledgeable, and an amazing surgeon. Dr. Coe performed a double disc replacement in my cervical spine. He fixed my numbness and greatly reduced my pain, basically saving my active lifestyle and Job!

I really don't understand these negative reviews. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Coe and the staff of the Silicon Valley Spine Institute.

I don't pick my dr. thru this.I had a great exp. w/him & his office.I work @ lpch & did have 2 wait @ x. That's what u do @ Dr's. offices.He found my problem my 1st visit after checking reflexes, xrays & later confirmed by mri.The other place I went did hardly anything after 6 mos. of pain. He healed me & I was able 2 get back 2 work. He's not a touchy, feely person but if he's not busy he'll talk 2 u.I have 2 other bad discs & if I need surgery n the future will have him do it.

Excellent care. Professional in every way. Office staff is friendly & efficient. No complaints whatsoeve and I can honestly say a most enjoyable experience under the circumstances.

Doctor has been the best! So I am happy with service.

The best surgeon and doctor that I have had since 2005. Have had 2 cervical fusions and a lower lumbar.

Only negative is the wait time, but it doesn't bother me at all. I think everyone is great from the staff to all the physicians. Actually the last 3 visits, there was no wait at all, good job!

I was trying to work with workers comp city of San Jose- not too friendly. Anna is great, cute also. Dr. C could do more if the city didn't restrict him by not approving the case. Otherwise I am happy with everything.

Very appreciative of attention & knowledge.

Awesome job, recovery time has been super easy, fast and almost 100% pain free. I will definitely recommend Dr. Coe & Anna and of course "The Spine Institute" to all my friends.
