The technician had tilted my washing machine when I started to check on his progress. He was using a small, wet gold color towel to mop up any drips. He pulled 3 rusty bobby pins out of a pipe in the bottom front of the machine. The machine no longer creates a puddle on the floor. But I was dismayed to notice a few days later that the washcloth which matches my set of towels in the bathroom right next to the laundry was missing. I believe in my heart of hearts that the technician used it while repairing my machine. So sad.

We have a Sears maintenance agreement for 6 of our appliances. We have a preventive maintenance check each year. We usually have the same technicians, and each time they have been courteous, neat, knowledgeable, and informative. They give us advice on any changes we may need to make in prolonging the life of our appliances, some of which are now quite old. However, they are working like new due to the care they receive from Sears. We really appreciate that Sears sent out two technicians at the same time to expedite the whole process. Thank you!

When our Sears Kenmore water heater started leaking and stopped working and under warranty, Sears has a strange way of attending to you. They first send a technician (4 hr window) who only diagnoses and not fix anything and charge you $79 for that visit. 2 weeks later, they send another plumber with a new water heater on a different day (again another 4 hr window) to install a new water heater for which you have to pay installation labor charges again. Can they not combine this effort and make it easier for the customer who has to take time off twice from work two times with a 4 hr window timeframe.

This is the first problem I've had with my Kenmore front-loading washer, and it's 14 years old! That, in itself, is amazing to me! Our window of time was 8:00am - 12:00pm. The tech called around 9:00am and was here shortly thereafter. He diagnosed the problem quickly, had the necessary part on his truck and was in and out lickety-split. He left us a bag of Tide Pods and a container of Downey Unstoppables. I loved being able to pay with my debit card and get a printed receipt, too. Thank you. Sears, for your kind and knowledgeable repairman. I regret I can't remember his name but I'm sure you can find it on the paperwork somewhere.

I placed a call through Sears to have the washing machine repaired because the drum would not rotate during the spin cycle even though the motor was running. The Tch showed up the the next day and essesed that it was a coupling that needed to be replaced. We authorized the repair even though the repair cost seemed more than it should have cost for just a small part to be replaced. The $79 just for showing up charge plus the additional cost to replace the item was $195 and that is a lot for an elderly lady living on SS, so I was not happy about that and will seek other options in the future that may cost less.

The technician was prompt, friendly and courteous. He investigated the problem with our freezer and gave an estimate for repairs. Given the age of the freezer, we chose not to do the repair since it would be cheaper to replace it than repair it.

Our repair guy was courteous, pleasant and very informative. I've always had good experiences with the repairmen from Sears. We are glad we have kept our maintenance agreements going with them. Steven, the tech, performed diagnostic tests on our Maytag dryer and KitchenAid refrigerator as part of our insurance coverage. His work was done quickly and efficiently. In addition, he vacuumed the coils and thoroughly checked the appliances for any problems. --- This was the first time a Sears tech had been so thorough. Steven was friendly and offered tips for maintaining our appliances. He's definitely one of the best techs we've ever had.

Sears repairman called ahead, was well within arrival window of time, was courteous and efficient. Solved the problem I was having and double checked to make sure I was happy with the repair. Ipad documents all of the work, processes credit cards and prints the receipt right then. No waiting for a check to clear.

Excellent experience. Our KitchenAid dishwasher just quit working on a Sunday. Went online and was able to schedule an appointment for Monday between 10-2...easy. The technician was wonderful; the service and the tech called Monday morning to advise of his arrival time. He diagnosed the problem but didn't have the part. The tech found the part locally and his supervisor gave him the OK to pick it up - again terrific. The last time we had an appliance repaired it was a huge hassle getting the replacement part. Our tech picked it up immediately, repaired the machine and it works beautifully. Technician was kind, polite, knowledgeable and obviously concerned about getting the job done and done right. Will use Sears Appliance Repair again.

Contrary to other reviews, ours was stellar. The repair was done quickly, efficiently and very friendly. Our washer is back on track with a large family with no problems. Not sure I can even give 1 star for this. We are 99% sure that the technician may have accidentally taken our brand new JBL wireless speaker and power cord. I contacted Sears that evening when we realized this and they told me that the technician would contact me the next day (never received a phone call), left the technician 2 voice mails the next day (never received a call back), then called Sears again 4 days later to follow up on my call and was told I would receive a call back within 24 to 48 hours and it's a week later with no return call. I called again this morning (now 11 days after the service appointment) and was told that they are still researching and they will have to get back to me when they have more information. It seems to me that a licensed, bonded service company like Sears has dealt with issues like this in the past and I would think has a process that they could explain to the customer, vs. just we'll call you back as soon as we know more information.

We had Sears come out and replace a heating element on our dryer. They took apart the machine, replaced the faulty part but then apparently put the machine back incorrectly. The water line for steam was leaking and flooded our laundry room overnight. When we called back it was very painful to get someone out and we had to wait 5 days to get someone to fix it. AND - they insisted that we would have to pay for the repair. It did get fixed eventually, and we didn't have to pay for the second repair, but it was a very painfull process. I think that I will only be contacting local repairmen in the future and not having to deal with big call centers in foreign countries.

We had service done on our Kenmore Elite Dishwasher. We had told them it was running too long...usually more than three hours and suggested that possibly the unit needed a new timer or electronic board. The technician was courteous and friendly. He ran the diagnostics, spoke with his supervisor and cleaned the filter. His diagnosis was that the long run time was most likely due to a dirty filter, low water temperature or a combination of both. He declined to replace either the timer or the electronic board. We're not all that happy, but will see how it goes.

I have always purchased my appliances from Sears. I always purchase the service agreements because it just makes good since. It would be like buying a new car without a warranty. Thank you for showing up so quickly to service my dryer. It works like new. A little maintenance goes a long way. Sears is #1 in appliances as always.
