I love this place I would not want to stay anywhere else . Thank you for always being here. I love how peaceful this place is I could really catch up on my z’s by being here.

Another excellent stay at Blue Sky Lodge! The staff is always very helpful, friendly and accommodating! The rooms are wonderful and very comfortable. We will be back soon.

Comfortable, easy going, great tree to read under - not too la te dah so we were able to walk with our dog, play Frisbee and feel @ home. Not the Hyatt, but we weren't looking for that style or price! Family owned laidback, charming lodge - you can walk to wine tasting, Holman ranch and residential areas the patios are spacious and private, not the usual 3X2. There's a big field that was to be a take off and landing pad back in the day, when people wanted to fly in, now it's accessible and you can play ball or Frisbee with your dog. LOVED it - not fancy

I read the reviews before booking this and was concerned as some were quite negative. However I was very pleased with the hotel when I stayed for two nights in a king room with balcony. It is not up to the standard of the big chain hotels and some parts are in need of a bit of work to tidy up. However the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, it is right next to Carmel Valley village, and the rates are very good.

I slept comfortably on clean sheets and saved a lot of money in the process. The carpet was stain and stick free, the bathroom was clean, the closet had ample room with a door, and the TV was digital with the basic cable package. I prefer to spend less money than more per night when a least expensive room is equipped with the basics. We had two comfortable queen beds, a private patio, endless coffee to brew, and beautiful trees to give us privacy and the feeling that we were away. My bottom line is this: When I am in Carmel, most of my time is spent outdoors, so the interior of a room does not have to be newly remodeled with the most modern furnishings. Clean, pleasant, and comfortable does the job every time.

My sister and I stayed here by chance enroute down the Californian coast. We were initially trying to stay closer to the ocean, but left our booking to late and hence ended up exploring Carmel Valley, and what a delightful surprise it was! The Lodge provided a very comfortable stay and the quaint little town is filled with wonderful restaurants, wineries and more. We had a wonderful time here and will be back for a longer stay to explore the area more thoroughly sometime soon.

Very nice quiet rooms (all separated) with their own courtyard. Very friendly staff. Short walk to town and wine tasting!

Great place--but know what you are getting. It is not the Ritz. It is a homey, kitschy, down home place with an amazing pool and hot tub! The staff is just so gracious and the pool and hot tub are great. WE stayed in an apartment off-sight, but a very short walk to the main building. It was good fun. The apartment was old school for sure, yellow pleather bankets and all....but frankly good times! I recommend for sure!

This is a great lodge to stay in and the best so far that I have been to the decor was nice and the lodge well cleaned. Professional and very friendly service
