Dr. McGowan has been my doctor for years. He has a wonderful beside manner. He is very knowledgeable. He is prompt in returning messages and answering questions. I would definitely recommend this practice. All the staff are friendly and helpful.

He is very kind and considerate. Always always ask me if I have any questions. He gives me his full attention which I find very rare nowadays. This is a truly, awesome doctor. His smile is so uplifting that it gives out positive vibes. His co-workers feel it and so does his patients as I witness this the other day. I will recommend all my friends to his office. I do hope he stays until he retires. I am lucky to be a patient of his. I do not say this about my other doctors, just him, that is how wonderful he is. .

Dr. McGowan was very helpful and patient in answering all of my questions. The staff was very friendly. Agnes was patient in scheduling another endoscopy for me as well. I love Cary Gastroenterology!

Very good. The staff and Doctor were very informative, the process moved nicely, no waiting forever which is rare these days in many dr offices.

Everything was great although I do not remember Dr McGowan coming by post op to talk about results. Good thing I said I wanted my husband there to hear the results.

Listens to what problems I have and walks me through what he is thinking and the procedures he wants to perform.

My experience was excellent. The staff was professional and explained the process with thorough directions. I received my results quickly with clear explanations.

I have never had gentle rectal exam but Dr. McGowan was gentle and informative in his findings. He discovered I had an anal fissure. He prescribed me a compound medication that he formulated especially for me, within days I saw positive results. My pain was unbearable for 3-4 months and with his care I have completely healed with no pain. I would recommend Dr. McGowan to anyone if they are looking for excellent care.

Doctor and anesthesiologist were excellent, from what little I can remember while under anesthesia. Nurses were warm, professional, and busy. They did not check up on you if you had to wait a long time, as I did, but were whirlwinds, so it is understandable. My wife says he waiting room is pretty small. I will come back, but I hope not soon. .
