Everyone at Cary Gastro is super friendly and patient oriented. When you come in for your appointment, your paperwork is ready to be reviewed, the nurse takes you back to review your history and discuss the goals for your appointment, and the doctor is ready for you. Dr. McGowan is approachable, easy to talk with, and simply outlines his prognosis and plan for getting back to normal as quickly as possible.

I had a very good experience with all staff nurses and doctors! I was dreding my appointment but bad tasting medicine by far was the worst.

Doc McGowen is a true pleasure to work with and his patient interaction commendable. He shows respect and listens to input without impatience and values patient input. He has a calm demeanor that helps one relax in a trying situation such as GERD and esphagitis which can be stressful.

Truthfully I was very hesitant to go through this procedure again, but I read about the facility and decided to try again. I could not be more happier that I did...the staff allow you to be relaxed from the first step in the door to the last one out the door. Whether it was my nervousness or the staffs happy attitudes, I found myself joking most of my visit. Dr. McGowan is personable enough that you do not feel intimidated or embarrassed, he is a true gentleman.
