Bill s Music House, located in Baltimore, Md., is a music store serving the area s musicians for more than 40 years. The company started in 1965 as a studio, providing music lessons. Bill s Music expanded into four locations in the next 10 years and grew to include musical instrument sales, repairs, rentals, financing, international mail-order and Internet sales as well as more than 400 students enrolled in its music lessons. Bill s Music consists of two stores with more than 36,000-square-feet of new and used musical equipment. It stocks instruments for amateurs and professionals including pro sound and recording gear, DJ and lighting, brass and woodwinds, guitars, amplifiers, keyboards, bluegrass, drums and percussion, books, videos and accessories. It offers private music instructions on a variety of musical instruments.

I found their site on-line after scouring the internet for the right banjolele for my dad. I found the right banjolele at the best price at Bill's, better than anywhere else on the internet, lower than amazon or any other retailer.

That's what we musicians really want at the end of the day - client relations. Someone to recommend a good brand of strings, patience to allow us to endlessly try instruments, even if it takes years to actually purchase - good service. Problems happen in every business, it's inevitable... it's how you handle them that builds relationship with your clients.

Even though I have relocated to Philadelphia, I still enjoy getting to Bill’s when I am back in Baltimore.

I am very happy with Bill's. Even when you were working on getting my paper work done, I must have been asked at least 5-6 times by other reps if I needed help. When I would go in other shops, I got treated like I was some "punk" kid just there to mess with equipment and not actually buy anything. This is such a misrepresentation of the person I am! Needless to say, that was quite insulting to me. It was totally the opposite with your store! Bill's Music has secured my business as well as the business of the other 5 members of my band!

Before now, I mostly did business with Guitar Center. I happened to have a terrible customer service experience with them recently. This experience compelled me to look for other companies, offering similar merchandise. You're willingness to help my band and I get all of the equipment, and financing we needed, was a welcomed change from my experience with Guitar Center.

I really like the look of high end guitars stacked two rows deep inside glass cases. Unlike most GCs, at Bills the glass cases are part of the ambience. They are an integral part of the stores look and feel. It gives the place an air of class and professionalism.

A great place to shop if looking for equipment. With so much stuff they spread across two buildings. You name the instrument, they have it. You can pick up and try the instruments before you buy.

I need to tell you how impressed I was with Bill's Music. I walked into the "other" guitar store in desperate need of a Bass guitar. After 30 minutes of being ignored I was finally approached when starting to walk out the door. So, I took the longer drive to Bill's Music and was impressed with the stock and service! Paul was completely attentive and treated me as if I was a rock star (even though I am far from it). I left with a Rickenbacker and a feeling of total contentment and satisfaction! I'll be sure to drive the extra miles to visit you again soon!

Jim, thanks for wonderful service. When I step into your doors, I'm going to be served with respect and given time to browse at my leisure. I always, and stress ALWAYS find what I'm looking for. I might have to sacrifice cost, but compared to large chains, Bill's senior staff NEVER FAILS ME! Jim, along with Lou, both have never turned away a possible sale, even if I was a young looking punk.
