We called and set up movers to be at our house at 2 pm on a Sunday. We were given a price for 2 hours and 2 movers. They also said they would call an hour prior to coming and when they close. We called at 115pm no answer any times. 2pm came and went and we did call and eventually after calling 15 + times someone answered and said 45 minutes and this was around 240pm well 45 mins came and went and we called again and they said 45 mins. 45 mins came and went. Then they told us 10 minutes and after waiting 20 mins we called and they said 10 mins and at that point we had a 17 foot uhaul loaded ourselves. We had already reserved and picked up the truck and set up paid security to be there at 2pm for 2 hours so we knew we only had a small amount of time to get the move done. Then the owner had the nerve to call and argue with us about the time. I can't believe the terrible customer service of the owner after they never showed up! Terrible!!! I would never recommend this company to anyone!!! Do not use them if you need someone to show up on time! So rude and even worse to not show up then call and argue with us. Maybe the owner needs to hire more employees? I'm sure he could find extra help easily in Charlotte nc.

PLEASE dont use this company! If you dont care about your stuff being broken, damaged, scratched, chipped, shattered, and beaten... then use Principle Moving. And if you dont care that claims go unread and ignored, use Principle Moving. Unethical and unprofessional...

Principle Moving makes moving so easy. They are fast and courteous every time. This is my third move with them and I probably will never use anyone else. I called around and got some quotes and spoke to other numerous companies but none of them could even compare to their prices.

We've used Principle Moving four times, now and because of those experiences, and being treated so well, I will continue to use them for everything!



Initially, I used them to move us from one house to another house. Russ came out to look over our things and gave us a reasonable flat rate. The price was much better than other estimates I'd gotten so I decided to use them. The guys were very friendly and ready to work. Unfortunately, I hadn't correctly measured the doorways upstairs at the new house. After they had moved all of the furniture up there, we discovered that they couldn't get it through the doors so they had to move everything back downstairs again! They didn't complain at all. It was completely my fault, I had measured incorrectly and hadn't thought it through, but they were so patient with me, I never felt uncomfortable.



We've used them on several occasions since, and they are always good-matured and pleasant to be around. One time we were using them, and it was taking a lot longer than we had thought it would, and it was 8 pm on a Friday, and these are young guys, who probably have plans after work, but they were so great and helped us to reshuffle our furniture. And we had a company put in a chair lift for my in-laws, only it was too high and therefore too dangerous for them to use. Well, the guys helped us fix it! I couldn't believe it, I'm always going to use them! They are always very courteous, friendly and responsible. I would highly, highly recommend them to anybody!

Unfortunately, I don't have our movers' names but the two boys that moved my daughter in were fantastic! They called ahead to confirm everything, showed up on time, moved everything quickly and professionally. My daughter's room was on the 4th floor and she has a huge shelf that wouldn't fit on the elevator but they moved it up without a complaint. After getting the shelf upstairs and my daughter's furniture arranged time they came back down for a load. By that time, there was a line for the elevator so they carried that load all the rest of the loads that followed up the stairs all the way to the fourth floor . Then my daughter decided her room was not arranged the way she wanted so they happily rearranged her furniture for her. It was a terribly hot day and they had already moved a couple of other people before my daughter but they remained professional and pleasant. I will definitely use their service again and would recommend them to friends. It's rare today to get such top notch service.

Had a great experience working with Tim to set up the move and working with his team during the move. Tim was very responsive by e-mail and phone and he made sure that we were well informed with pricing and what was expected with the move. The movers arrived right on time and were extremely pleasant to work with; they handled huge, bulky loads without issue. I would definitely contact Principle Moving in the future.

This was the most horrible customer service experience of my life. They were 5-1/2 hours late for my move and never called. I had to call them continuously and were always told they would be there soon. I asked for a discount and the owner would only offer me $32.50. I offered 2/3 of the bill and when they refused, they actually CALLED THE POLICE TO MY HOME! Yes, believe it or not, they called the police. I still can't believe this happened. These people could care less about their customers. If everything goes perfect, you might be ok but if not..BUYER BEWARE.

My husband & I have moved 3 times in the last 4 years & used these guys 3 times. Friendly, professional, CAREFUL & fast!!! Wouldn't use any other company, great work for a great price! Would highly recommend them!

Hello all! I recently used Principle Movers for a short move from point A to B here in Charlotte. Immediately from the initial call with the owner Tim as well as the movers follow through on my move was AWESOME!!! These guys have great communication skills as well as work ethic. If your looking for a REAL professional moving company go with these guys!!! Simply the Best In Town!!!

I was referred to this company by my mother who has used them on 2 other occassions. I called them last minute due to another company not showing up. The were able to fit me in thier schedule and the rates were much better than what I was getting when calling around. The movers were just awesome, they were polite, hardworking and very careful. They completed the move a good time and all my furniture was in great condition as it was. Actuly Im the only one who caused damage to anything when I carrying a lamp to the truck. All in all the company was great to work with and definitly reccomend using this group.

Our movers from Principle moving just finished moving us into our new home and, wow, they did a great job!



Russel, Boris, and Alex showed up exactly on time and immediately went to work. They took extra care to make sure valuable and non-valuable items were properly secured and safely packaged. They were friendly and seemed to genuinely like working together.



We were quoted for a 9 hour move, but the team finished in less than 7. Mind you: we were moving from a three story apartment building to a two story home (about 22 miles away).



These guys rocked, and I would wholeheartedly use them again.

You get a professional crew that respects their customer and takes pride in doing a good job. I had a few doubts at first, cause the guys seemed a bit young but I was wrong. They were able to perform fantastically by working hard and smart. Everything went without a hitch. I’m pretty sure we couldn't have found better people for the job.

Highly recommended. I got great service for my money with movers doing an excellent job in a timely manner. They definitely deserve your business.

In the beginning I spoke with Anastasia on the phone. She gave me the estimate price and all the initial information with the timings. The workers( can’t really remember their names) arrived early on the day of the move (after calling me first). The guys covered every detail of the move with us before getting started. They proceeded to pack and move every piece of furniture in my old home without nicking or scratching a wall. They were fast, yet highly conscientious of our belongings. The same held true when they arrived at our new house. They unloaded and placed all our contents in our new house without a nick or scratch to any of our newly painted walls. Each and every piece of furniture was also perfect without a scratch or dents anywhere (the only movers I have ever used that were able to make it without damage). In addition, they went the extra mile to get our refrigerator into our new house as well (which was no easy feat I may add)! In the end, the guys finished the move in the exact time estimated and with the same price quoted. I would use Principle again and I will definitely recommend them to friends. If you want a smooth and worry free move definitely check Principle Moving out.

If you value your belongings at all, do not use this company. You are rolling the dice and gambling that nothing will get damaged, because if it does, you're out of luck. Read and heed the bad reviews (except that one lady, who gave a 1 star and a good review, ignore her)



I've moved a lot (12 times in total) and have used many different movers. The worst of them all was Principle.



First, they severely underbid the job sending two men with no relief for what would be a 14 hour day.



Second, when damage was discovered and reported, they refused to own up to it, avoiding all phone calls entirely (nobody is here, call back when we're closed) until finally denying the claim. Let's see them deny it in small claims court.



I cannot fathom how this company rates a 5 star. Obviously city-search has a flawed rating system.



PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY..... On the move date they were supposed to be at my house between 3-5 pm, they showed up at 7pm. They quoted me 2 men for 3 hours, and 1 move time, with 26' truck for $265, which sounded like a great deal...right? By the way this was only a 2 bedroom apt move across town (15 min down the road).



Well the 3 hours turned in 7 hours. They didn't get done until 2:30 AM. The owner Kent I think that’s what his name was, said that I owned him for 4 extra hours. I told him that is not what I was quoted for and his movers were inexperienced and slow ( they didn’t even get all my stuff because they only stocked the truck 5 feet up, a whole bunch of wasted space. I had to move the rest of stuff myself the next day) He told me if I refuse to pay he will take me to court nice costumer service right?



Update: The owner sued me for $400 and claimed that I still owed for gas, and all kinds of other outrageous charges. Thank God for a sensible judge, who could see that his claims crazy. I still had to pay for 2 hours of movers service( crappy service at best).



DO NOT USE THESE GUYS....

Principle Moving is the best moving company I have ever used.



They arrived little bit late, but still acceptable with staff polite and friendly. I had a lot of heavy & fragile furniture, dishes and a lot off expensive equipment like big sized TVs and hi-fi audio, not mention the kitchen, which needed full disassembling.



My house was packed up into the truck & unloaded in just a short work day; I had no chance to watch them, since they worked so fast, that I could not keep up.



When I first called Principle Moving I spoke with a very professional & polite manger, who handled all of my questions from the beginning of moving process. It was truly pleasant to get to speak with her every time, knowing I get all the help I need, and that all my demands will be dealt with. They had the best price tag, far below the sum I was quoted elsewhere, especially considering the amount of work they actually had to do, along with all the material.



I moved NC about 4 years ago and have moved around the area near 3 times, using different moving companies, but was disappointed until I found Principle, they saved me a lot of nerves and time, without emptying my pockets

As long as I live here, I will never look for another moving company again.

Fabulous Job! Fast, kind, courteous service. All of my belongings made it from NC to GA with no damage and the guys made sure I was fully satisfied. Thank you for making my move a great one, I will gladly use your service again. All for a great price!

These guys are AWESOME! The only company I will use for any future move in the South East. Staff came prepared with everything needed to make my move a smooth one, no damages, and great pricing. Keep up the good work!
