As an integral part of your dental team oral and maxillofacial surgeons are required to attend up to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training after becoming a general dentist. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon this additional training allows, Dr. Sharma to manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Sharma practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery and dental implant reconstructive surgery. He also diagnoses and treats facial pain, facial injuries and TMJ disorders.

Provided by YP.comThe removal of a wisdom tooth was not something I would ever wish to have done. However, the procedure went smoothly, the care which I received was exceptional and the office staff was very helpful.

Provided by YP.comThis is our third family procedure performed by Dr. Sharma. He and his staff anticipate and answer every question before we think of it. I've never left the office with doubt or confusion. They are warm and knowledgeable and are truly concerned with patient and care-giver comfort. They even sent my son home with a pint of locally made ice cream. WOW!

Provided by YP.comI am terrified of dental work. Dr Sharma and staff put me at ease, explained everything to me. I had no pain after the extraction of two wisdom teeth. The office staff called twice and checked on me. I will definitely refer friends and family to Dr. Sharma.

Provided by YP.comThis is my 2nd time to have Dr Sharma pull a tooth. I was so comfortable that I forgot about my debilitating fear of dentist! Dr Sharma and staff was so understanding and caring. I felt like I was a member of the family. The explanation of what they were going to do was exactly what they did... No hidden steps. My after care was just as wonderful with full explanation of after care. I also received phone calls checking on me at home. I have and will continue to refer Dr Sharma to my family and friends without hesitation.
