This was the first time in almost 15 years someone else has serviced my furnace. The ease of reaching the company and getting an appointment was a good experience. The young man who came out was polite and very nice. I was happy with his cleanliness. I could tell he was fairly new just based on the way he tried to take apart my furnace. He was getting me nervous at times. I only wish the company would have asked questions like, what type of furnace do you own, how old is the unit and when was the last time it was serviced. The company should have sent someone with a bit more experience. I read in previous reviews that the techs work on commission. You could tell he was trying to sell me other services. He found something that was going to go wrong with my unit and I'm glad he showed me the part which looked liked it was corroding. The one year guarantee on the unit breakdown is assuring. I would have given the company higher marks had he didn't try to sell me things when that's all I wanted was a furnace cleaning.

Don't call them unless you enjoy being fleeced. They probably pay a lot to be at the top of the list and I guess 'earn' most of their income with the $85 "estimate" or dispatch fee. This is over and above the actual cost of the work. I called for some plumbing, and apparently they think they ought to be paid like surgeons: $800 estimate NOT INCLUDING PARTS for THREE LEAKY SINK TAPS. I said no way, so have no opinion about the quality of the work.

I also asked them come for HVAC in the same phone call. They are very bureaucratic. The service divisions are completely separate companies with separate billing, so there is no way to bundle their services. The HVAC guy came and refused to do anything after deciding that the condo association was responsible for addressing the problem (it, of course, claims otherwise), so I can't comment on the HVAC work quality either.

Dont even call these guys as a last resort. There are some senior professionals who are fine but if you want a kid who threatens to shut off your service before he leaves on Friday at 3 pm in the Middle of December in Wilmette - Call Four Seasons. I called the police. You should too

well, the plumber just left my place and he informed me that the estimate was free. So after his inspection, he told me it cost 354.00 to unclog a drain. but i have to sign papers saying in the event he can not complete the task, i would still have to pay half for the attempt. that's right your guess it, the drain is still clogged. Im out of 176 bucks. 4 season Sucks.

Been using them for years for my furnace and ac. Very consistent, and hard working technicians. Both furnace and ac are on the older edge of the spectrum and I really feel the preventative maintenance these guys provide makes a huge difference in why I haven't had to replace. Their techs are polite and courteous. Could tell they take your best interest into account. Just like with a car, if you take ofnit, it will last.

I had used Four Seasons for a number of years and this year I scheduled a fall furnace clean/checkup as usual. I had the appointment for about three weeks and was told my service window was 1:00 - 6:00 pm. No one had bothered to call me the entire afternoon of the appointment so when I called their office at 5:30 pm, I was told that they were still "within the window" and still could show up. Sorry folks, you blew it. I don't want you here during dinnertime and then have you rush though the job because I was last on your list today. You won't get any more business from me and I will share my experience with others.

They employ deceptive and unethical business practices. They called my wife and led her to believe we had a service contract with them so she set up an appointment to get our air conditioner cleaned. Before they came out, they called my cell phone to confirm when they would be showing up. This was the first time I found out about the appointment so I told them to cancel since I already have a service contract with another firm. Instead, they called my wife on the other phone number they had and told her the appointment was cancelled. They never told her that is was me that cancelled so my wife thought the cancellation was inadvertent and told them to come. By the time I found this out, they had just finished and billed us $179.90 on our credit card. When I called to complain, they refused to credit my account.

They charge DOUBLE what other HVAC companies quote and they will not honor what is clearly stated on their website about matching competitors rates.

Not a true 24/7 service. I called on Sunday afternoon because my furnace wasn't working, the earliest they could send someone was Monday morning. It was 20 degrees outside.

Bad company. BEWARE!!!!The techs work primarily on commission and they try to sell you parts that are not broke! I found out later that they do not pay there techs a decent wage because they work on low hourly pay plus commission! I talked to one tech that had 9 years experience and they pay him $16 an hour plus commission. When he should get easily over $20. Very bad morals!

Just paid $85.00 for a technician to tell me my ac didn't turn on Because my thermostat has a 5 minute delay .Wasn't in my home for 5 minutes

BEWARE. They tried to charge me 85$ service charge on top of their promotional coupon offer. 89.95 for AC tuneup and suddenly there's hidden 85$ "service charge" BEWARE

My 14 year old hot water heater went out so I called Four seasons Home Services to see if I could get an estimate. Not only did they send a plumber out that day they followed up with a Hot water heater that day as well. Before I knew it I had hot water again. The plumber answered all of my questions and was very clean and polite. I will definatly be using them again.

I called Four Seasons during the flooding last month, my basement had flooded and my hot water tank had been under 3ft of water. What a mess!!!

I called on a Sunday, they sent out the service guy right away. Unfortunately my hot water tank was shot, shocker after 3ft of water. The service guy set up for me to have a new tank installed the same day, because they were putting in so many they actually upgraded me to a better tank. Awesome!!!

The installers showed up later that night and put the installation in it only took about 2 hours, the main installer was really nice, I think they his name was Jeremy, he was really personable and explained everything he was doing to me.

I was extremely please with my experience and will defiantly continue to use this company in the future.

called Four seasons out last wednesday because my a/c wouldn't come on. They told me it would take up 4 hrs to get out, but they were here in under 2. wow! had the unit up and running in about 30 minutes. reasonably priced also. I will definetley call them next time.

Good company with knowledgeable service staff. 3 years ago, I purchased a new central air conditioning system as well as furnace from Four Seasons. They suggested annual service check-ups and told me about the product warranty. I do call them for service check-ups on each of the units. Recently, I had a problem with my air conditioning unit so they came out. The repairs were covered by the product warranty. Nice to see a business honoring their committments.

Chicago sure did get HOT. I left the southern states last month to get out of the heat and i still had to get me a new air conditioner. They sent over Libroio Nunez good guy. He ripped out the ancient system that must have stopped working years ago and put in fresh and clean stuff. Took about 4 hours of my day but now can sit back in my lay-z boy and watch the finals. Now that I'm out of the heat I'm still gonna have to hear about Labron and the heat for a whole year. Next year Rose, next year

Beware of this company!! Make sure you get everything in writing before having them do any kind of work! False advertisers!

BEWARE of this company!!! We were told duct cleaning was included with our installation of a new furnace and air unit and then they said we owed $500 after they said the duct cleaning was included with NO CHARGE. We decided to not go with the installation of a new furnace and air unit with them. Installation guy was very rude too. I can see why they have so many complaints with the BBB!
