Old fashioned style ice creamery. However the food is nothing to brag about and neither is the ice cream. I do love the fact that you can still get a selection of ice cream sundaes here.

Today we had a birthday party at Leatherby's with 13 teenagers. It was really nice because they let me come in early to decorate. The server was attentive to the girls, delivered their food and ice cream promptly and made sure to check on their water throughout the party. The ice cream sundaes were amazing and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this delicious ice cream parlor to anybody celebrating a birthday or just looking for yummy food and ice cream.

We have always had nothing but fun, great food and service from Leatherby's!!! Nice to still have a neighborhood Ice Cream Store to gather at too!!!

I noticed that people have given bad reviews on here not for the quality of food but for their own personal stupidity. Reall sad that a small business that may rely heavily on those stars for business could be easily looked at as a terrible place to go. Some may not read the reviews and just see people stating they wont return, and then choose not to go based on that small tidbit of information. So after i read the reviews, i saw that one lady didn't read her coupon right and expected Leatherby's to reward her stupidity by honering her groupon. So really, the food was not an issue. She gave a bad review because she is stupid. The other review is totally politically motivated. Gay marriage has nothing to do with an icecream parlor. Comparing a family that believes in tradition marriage to the klan is rediculous. It goes to show that "tolerance" is only taught in one direction. Free speech is only okay if what you speak is in aggreeance with the radicals. I support prop. 8. Honestly I'm sick of hearing about it. We voted, let it go! What happened to our vote? Any ways, it's keeping us from more important issues. Like small business bashing! I had a wonderful experience when i brought my kids here. Yes it was dated, but not all places can afford to remodel every five years. I will be back for the icecream, it was very good!
