Seafood Newburgh is great, and the best lobster tails around.

Best steaks ..... crab meat cocktail is superb. Great service ...

Our visit to Clinton is never complete unless we have eaten at The Clinton House! Demetri and the wonderful staff are always friendly and attentive. The Southern Comfort Sours are great! My favorite menu item is the prawn cocktail with fresh horseradish, and for my main meal the filet mignon au poivre with brandied cream sauce. Dessert is either cheesecake or the bread pudding with Baileys.. We have been coming here for over 21 years now and its great to have a local restaurant that is always consistent and welcoming!

Great Crab cakes ; also recommend the Bread Pudding for desert! I have had it many times!

This was the best food I had in a long time I was there with 7 people every body. Loved there food next time I am in Clinton I will be eating there

Great food and great fall atmosphere with a big fire in the stone fireplace. Prime rib is hard to beat here, and you are guaranteed to take home leftovers with the king size!

I don't know what expectations the people commenting on this restaurant have but this was my 3rd time at the Clinton House and a fabulous dinner. Our server Carole was awesome. Most of the servers here look like they've been here for 30 years but that's part of the charm. Carole had an opinion about every item we ordered and even comped us a dessert when she heard it was one of our first times out without the baby.



dinners are pricey but my filet mignon was perfect and my husband's Tbone too. I do agree with previous commenters that the wine glasses are silly and smaller BUT they practically filled it to the top. I had the house cabarnet which was not that great and I couldn't get past 3 sips. They do have a list of new specialty drinks and I had the summertini which was awesome.



desserts are great - we had the peach cobbler and it's huge. definitely meant for 2 to share.



bread was the only let down. it clearly wasn't freshly baked and there were about 3 tiny slices in the basket. the diner down the road (clinton station) has better bread! that would be my only complaint. buy or bake bread that fits in with the entree prices.
