Dr. Marcia E. Johnson is a board certified dermatologist. She specializes in general, adult and pediatric dermatology with an interest in the treatment of skin cancer. Dr. Johnson received her Ph.D. degree from University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan where she held a Ford Foundation Graduate Fellowship and received both the Samuel J. Mitchell Award for Outstanding Graduate Student Research in Cellular and Molecular Biology and the Association for Women in Science Pre-doctoral Research Award. She completed post-doctoral studies at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY where she held a National Institute of Health Post-doctoral Fellowship. She received her M.D. degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI where she served on the research staff at the Michigan Cancer Foundation. She completed her medical internship at the Detroit Medical Center and her dermatology residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Johnson graduated with a Bachelor of Science Major in Biology at Morris Brown College in Atlanta.
