Provided by YP.comOur company just recently changed the preferred rental car service to National.. my first experience was excellent! I had many years with the previous service without any real complaints, however I really noticed the difference in the friendliness of those I interacted with and the automated notifications. Most of all I loved the "pick your car" option... that was nice!

Provided by YP.comThe Emerald Club experience was business as usual. We had a large selection of clean vehicles to choose from (granted we arrived in Denver at 630 am) and were out the gate in less than five minutes.

Provided by YP.comNational had over rented cars and gave us an amazing upgrade and a free rental day for waiting and the inconvenience of not being able to pick a car and wait about 20 minutes for a car to be made ready for us. I thought they handled the situation very well and I appreciated their efforts in making us happy and more comfortable!

Provided by YP.comRenting a car is like brushing your teeth. You do it and forget the experience 5 minutes after you are done. National has sent me several reminders to post a story. I am doing it so they stop emailing me.

Provided by YP.comWhile having access to the Emerald aisle seems like a perk, I was disappointed to have a very limited selection of vehicles- every one of them absolutely fithly. The paper on the dash apologized for the disgusting condition saying it was too cold to wash them. I dont buy it- I live in Michigan and wash my car despite the temps. There was no one to assist me loading my luggage into the car- so my white dress coat and heels were dirty by the time I loaded up :( Additionally the gas tank was a less than half!! Who wants to start a business trip filling up before I can even get started??? When I mentioned all of this at the return of my car- I was told they were giving me two free personal rental days. I called about a week later to book a car for an upcoming trip to Miami and of course, they have no record of ANY free days. Horrible experience and terrible cusotmer service. Not impressed to say the least

Provided by YP.comWe had a less than favorable rental experience at National's Denver international location, to day the least. First, they had no SUV's available, despite our having reserved an SUV months ahead of time. In lieu of the SUV, we were given a Jeep Wrangler. Shortly after leaving the airport, we noticed that the windshield had a crack 12-18 inches long. I called once we arrived at our hotel to inform them. They had the nerve to ask, "Why didn't you notice it immediately?" I responded, "Why are you in the habit of renting cars with cracked windshields?" Ridiculous and insulting. Finally, while driving through wet snow, we needed to clean the windshield, but guess what? There was no wiper fluid. When we returned the vehicle and pointed out all the issues, the onsite manager promised to send us a 3-day rental certificate to make up for our troubles. It's been more than two weeks and there's no certificate in sight.

Provided by YP.comJust joined the Emerald Club, and it was the best car rental experience I have had. Arrived late in Denver on a snowy night. I reserved an SUV, and it was waiting for me, set aside - took all of two minutes to hop off the shuttle and into my car. On return, e-recipts allowed us to jump out of the car and onto the shuttle. Car was clean and good quality. Very friendly and helpful staff, I will use them again, for sure!

Provided by YP.comThe worst experience ever... Upon picking up my vehicle, the guy at counter offered a upgrade... When going through the pricing, he wasn't quite clear. I understood something totally different. So once I dropped off my vehicle 4 days later I almost fell back. I was 100 dollars a day in addition to the normal charges... I understood a flat fee of 100.00 dollars. When I expressed my concerns to the manager she showed no interest at all. No interest in trying to resolve this complete misunderstanding..... It wasn't like I was asking her to void my charges or something. At best an apology would have done... Rude and direct is all I received.. All of this, for a basic Nissan Altima... I understand if I upgraded to a high end vehicle or something... Never again.. I would like to leave the stars blank, but unfortunately I have to pick 1 star.

Provided by YP.comI love National! They are dependable, quick, and make the rental process smooth and easy, especially as an Emerald Club member. The car performed well with no issues. The agent was able to help extend my rental to a weekly rate when I was stranded in Denver due to a snow-cancelled flight.

Provided by YP.comAs always, very impressed with the overall speed and convenience of the Emerald Aisle service, however, this time around, I had an issue. My family and I went on a vacation to Colorado for a week. We took a new Minivan off the Aisle, it had obviously been run through a car wash on the exterior, but the interior was filthy. The interior was filled with trash from previous users, the carpet was dirty and obviously never vacuumed. The windows were so dirty I has to spend my own time and expense on my vacation cleaning them, not what had in mind for vacation. If this happens again, I will try another service. National can not afford to rush cars right out to the aisle in that condition.

National's customer service is always excellent. The vehicles are always clean. I like being an Emerald Club member

Provided by YP.comNational is the way to go. Very satisfied with not having to go to the counter and being able to select the vehicle I wanted. Easy process checking out and very easy turning the vehicle back in. I will continue using National as my car rental.

Provided by YP.comNational is my new favorite, I used to be a strictly Hertz guy but love being able to pick any car I want and never wait in line to get the car I need. Emerald club is the way to go.

Provided by YP.comJuts returned a Dodge Durango to Honolulu International , I started using National a few years ago and they always are competitive price wise and the service is top rate . Love the fact that that I can see and chose a vehicle of my liking The staff at any local has always been very helpful accommodating
