Provided by YP.comI have needed my camera repaired twice, and both times I have sent it to precision camera repair, and each time, I have an outstanding experience. I love taking photographs with my digital camera and I didn't want it to be gone too long, and come to find out I had it sent, repaired, and back home within one week. They let me know when and what was going on every step of the way! I would recommend Precision to anyone who owns a camera. And it doesn't matter what type of camera it is either, they repair almost anything!!!!!

Provided by YP.comMy favorite camera quit working and I was instructed to send it to Precision Camera Repair in Connecticut, which is on the other side of the country from Oregon. I sent it out mid November and was hoping to have it back by Christmas. I had the camera back very quickly and got the best service when I emailed them to let them know the batteries were missing. The batteries were located and sent out immediately. Communications were the best and the camera works great. Highly recommend!!!

Provided by YP.comI sent my camera in after the lens got stuck and had my camera fixed and mailed back to me in 3 days. It works great and i am so thankful to them. They did an awesome job and i will always use them for any future problems.

Provided by YP.comI purchased a Sony Digital Camcorder last year. It was a newer model that used a hard drive instead of tape. The salesman talked me into a 4 year extended warranty at a very good price. I have never purchased an extended warranty before but did this time due to the newness of the technology. 3 days after my 1 year warranty expired the automatic lens cover no longer worked. I had my first opportunity to try the extended warranty and was more than a little worried about it. The warranty was covered by Precision Camera. They sent me a letter asking for my info and after I responded they said I would get a box to return it to them in. The box came 3 days later and the return prepaid shipping was UPS Red 2nd day delivery. I packaged it up and shipped it off to them. 9 days later it was returned and was working perfectly. I will use them again regardless if my part is in warranty or not. I was extremely impressed with their operation.

Provided by YP.comWhen I received the box from Precision that I had to send my camera back in - I was extremely hesitant. I felt like I had no "control" over the package once I dropped it off at UPS. However, much, MUCH to my great delight, not only could I track the "progress" of my repair BUT they have such a GREAT system that all I had to do was type in my telephone number and I could see when my Sony Cybershot DSC F717 got to Precision, when it was being worked on, and when it was being shipped back to me. Their customer service is wonderful and I didn't have to go through the proverbial "third degree" in order to get service. I was so imressed with not only the turnaround but with the system they have for getting the camera from my house to them and back. From the time I sent it to Precision to the
time I did get it back was just one week. AND - it's working just fine which is the best thing of all. These folks are AWESOME!!!!

Provided by YP.comIT IS SO HARD TO GET GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE THESE DAYS AND PRECISION CAMERA REPAIR EXCEEDED MY EXSPECTATIONS. THEY ARE EXTREMELY QUICK. I ALSO LOVED HOW I COULD TRACK THE PROGRESS OF MY REPAIR. I ALSO SENT THEM TWO DIFFERENT EMAILS AND I GOT A RESPONSE THE VERY NEXT DAY! I WAS AMAZED!

Provided by YP.comI had my video camera sent to these guys through Best Buy for repair. I was given an estimate on fixing it. When I called to give them the ok, they had already sent it back to Best Buy. I was told this was no problem, just have Best Buy send it back to them. Now when I called to check on the status, I am being told it is unrepairable, even though they have already told me what is broken and how much it is to be fixed. The camera was still under warranty when I sent it, I just had to pay for labor. Now my warranty is over. The two people I spoke with were very rude. Never once did they give me a phone call. I received one letter with the repair estimate. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
