I have used the guys from Summit Van Lines company two times to move my business studios. I can't speak highly enough of them. They are professional, courteous, and they know what they are doing!!! They were very careful with all my stuff. They were thorough and I will use them next time I move for sure. Compare their contract terms to any other mover. My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashier’s cheque from my bank which caused some inconvenience otherwise their service was not bad. Thankyou guys!

Summit Van Lines stuck to their estimate, they were professional and courteous, and got the job done fast. And when we discovered that our couch was wobbling in its new home, The concerned person from the department himself came over to inspect it. He was unable to find any problem with the couch and we realized this later that it was the floor. Well it was, but without hesitation he went "above and beyond" by modifying our couch to fit. When someone cares about his customers' satisfaction that much, that's who you want to move your belongings with. Overall the move went very smoothly . Good job Summit Van Lines.

I called Summit Van Lines at the recommendation of another moving company, who were already booked during the time I wanted. I was nervous about using a service I hadn't tried before, but they were great! I had to move from an apartment to a house. In setting up the move, the company was very quick to call me or e-mail me back to answer my questions, and explain how I could get parking permits, and provide other important information. Summit Van Lines is such a AWESOME! Moving company. For reals, I couldn't have dreamed of a more seamless moving experience. One of our fellow colleagues suggested that I contact Summit Van Lines and after reading some net reviews I decided he was right. They estimated my 1BR apt. to take 3 hours to load, drive to the new apt, and unload. In the end, it only ended up taking 2 hours and everything made it in one piece! I have big, heavy furniture and they still managed to get in and out in a flash. The whole thing ended up costing less than $400 and saved me a big headache at the end of the day. The Summit Vanlines movers were very professional and efficient. They actually moved me in less time than what they estimated. They have a competitive hourly rate that covers everything instead of making a list like the other companies and then charging you extra for what you forgot to include. Man, all I can tell you is that I had a lot of stuff in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor. My girlfriend and I were moving into a two story brand new home in Gainsville, FL that had 3 bedrooms. We filled up that brand new house with just the furniture and boxes we had in our 2 bedroom. Well minus the 2nd living room upstairs. We hired 4 guys from this moving company and they really impressed us! I thought that it may take all weekend because I had them fully pack us, but It only took 7 hours! Our representative Mike let us know that with packing it might go later than the 6 hours he predicted but he wanted us to have the oppurtunity to pro rate so that we would only pay for the time that we used. Even then he was only an hour off! They finished our move an hour earlier than he estimated. I'm just really happy with the professionalism these guys showed because they really did save us sooooo much trouble. If I have to move again, I will definately be using these guys again.

DON"T USE THEM! FIRST THEY LOW BALLED THE QUOTE AND CHRGED ME 2,000 MORE WHEN THEY WERE LOADING THE TRUCK. THEY BROUGHT A TRUCK TO SMALL FOR MY LOAD AND MADE TWO TRIPS TOTALLING 12 HOURS! THEY TOOK 13 DAYS TO DELIVER MY STUFF. I HAD 13,000 LBS OF STUFF AND THEY SEND ONLY TWO MEN! AFTER THREE HOURS AND ONLY EIGHT PIECES UNLOADED THEY WENT TO FID HELP. THE HELP THEY GOT REAKED OF BOOZE. THE SECOND MAN "GOT HURT" AND STOPPED HELPING. HE WAS STRUNG OUT ON DRUGS! AFTER 13 HOURS THE DRIVER DECIDED TO TAKE A NAP AND THERE ME MY KIDS AND THE DRUNKS WERE DOING HIS JOB. I SCREAMED AT HIM HE SLAMMED THE TRUCK DOOR ON ME. MY FURNITURE WAS DESTROYED AND MOST OF ALL AOT OF STUFF IS MISSING.WHEN THEY LEFT AT 2:00 IN THE MORNING MY HOUSE WAS FULL OF BOXES AND I HAD TO HIRE OTHERS TO PUT STUFF AWAY THE NEXT DAY! IT'S BEEN OVER A MONTH AND THE INSURANCE COMPANY HAS YET TO CONTACT ME. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE USE SOMEONE ELSE. THESE GUYS SUCK AND THE OWENER DOESN'T CARE. I SPOKE TO HIM AND HE WAS GOING TO MAKE SURE I WAS COMPENSATED FOR THE TIME, TROUBLE ETC AND I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN.

I recently moved from Miami to the Tampa area. I needed to move very quickly because the sale of my house had a very short closing period. I contacted several moving companies and tried to research as much as possible before deciding on a company. The last quote I received was from Summit representative Sammy who came to my house exactly on time. Sammy was professional and informative. He answered all my questions and assured me that my desired move date would not be a problem. I explained to him that I was concerned about the horrible reputations that ALL moving companies have. Sammy had a certain sincerity that the other companies were missing. About an hour after he left I called him to let him know that he got the job and that I was trusting him and not to let me down...Well all I can say is WOW,WOW, WOW! Summit did such an outstanding job I am still singing their praises. I had Summit do all the packing and the team of Yousel, Victor & Vlado made everything go so smoothly. Everything arrived in PERFECT condition. Not even a glass or plate or anything was damaged. You'd expect something to be broken, but Sammy lived up to his promise. Summit also had the best price around and delivered on their quote to the penny. I'm now settled in and have already recommended Summit to a friend moving in the near future. Thanks to the entire staff at Summit who guided me through the process and made moving effortless..........Bravo
