I did some checking on this business only to find out that the same family owns all my sons moving and storage.On the better business bureau all my sons movers were caught stealing from customers they were moving and the list goes on. To try to get back into the business the family started up a smooth move moving company. Are they laughing at us by choosing that name. Talk about a smooth move. The apple doesnt fall far from the tree. Dont find out the hard way.

They called me to say they would like to come and give me a quote. I said I had already had some quotes but agreed to let them come over. They never showed for the appointment

This company is terrible. I called this company because of the good reviews and I only needed a few heavy pieces of furniture moved. But now I'm suspicious that these reviews may have been planted by the manager himself. The first problem was with the employees. They came without tools and since we were mid move it took us a while to find our own tools for them to use. They worked slowly and since the company is pay by the hour it brought up the cost of the move. Not to mention the movers were unprofessional. More than once they complained about how unhappy they were with their employer, followed by smoking in my father's face while discussing that the move was going to cost more than he thought. It was at this moment I realized I hired a crooked moving company and it was too late to get someone else. Second problem is the poor management. The head mover called in additional help, who also did not bring any tools. He helped load the truck but when it came to unloading he remained in his car. He claimed he needed the go ahead from his manager to help unload, but he had difficultly getting a hold of the manager. Which was a lie. The head mover was able to contact the manager at least 5 times during the move, so I could complain about the problems with his company. He remained in his car until the job was completed. At this point my family was in the moving truck helping the movers unload our furniture to get the job done sooner, because we were not going to pay for another 3 hours. The manager claimed he would drive to my home to address the issues, but never came. What was meant to be a smooth move turned out a to be a terrible experience in which part of the work was done by my family.
