Absolutely Horrible! From customer of 4 years.

They miss me some times. The never get all the trash. They broke the lid off the top of my large green expensive roller can and refused to fix or reimburse. Their rates go up every 6 months. Now they've just started charging dump fees and fuel charges.Have refused to empty can sometimes stating, " It was too heavy" when my kids can easily pick it up. Rude customer service! Speeds through our neighborhood.To top it all off....we "had" their recycling service, until I witnessed them dumping the recyclables into the back of the same trash truck as they dumprd my garbage.

Customer Service

Hello,My name is George and I have been a long time customer of EDS, I just want everyone to know that they have been doing such an awesome job. The customer service department is always friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help on any situation or concern. I do believe that no company is perfect and it is very understandable, but EDS is a small company that can still stand next to all the other corporate companies. I would like to thank the customer service team for being great.

Not too happy~

Their driver once completely ran over our mail box and the owner of EDS said they would reimburse us the $100, but no check or call ever arrived! We finally forgave them that debt after several months, since we were moving. What ever happened to the customer is always right? A simple phone call would have been appreciated. WE are business owners & satisfy our customers ALWAYS, NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION.

I would give them zero stars if possible

So far, in the past 3 weeks, they haven't picked up my trash once! They always miss me, and then schedule "special" picks up, and then miss those too. If you want to use EDS, you might want to be prepared to take your trash to them. Because, they aren't going come get it!

no problems here in Evergreen

We have never had a problem with EDS and we've lived here for 4 years. Even when we moved in I put out boxes and boxes of moving materials as I unpacked and they took it all. We have also rented a dumpster a time or two as we worked on our house and they delivered and picked up promptly. We appreciate that they call and remind us of holiday non-pick-up.

Avoid this company -- owner has clearly lost control of the business

Good luck getting regular trash pick up. And this is with far less trash/waste/yard stuff than their limits, and regular trash, not recycle. Nothing extra asked for. There seem to be no controls that work for when trash is missed. No one has an explanation for why, and you go in circles, once you get someone on the phone. The wait times on the phone also never end. Website says it's a "5 generation" family business owned by Dan Loos; web shows he is about 70 yrs old and also lives in Arizona, so draw your own conclusion as to how involved he really is in the business. I think the good reviews are plants.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I went with EDS to save a few bucks a month. The first week, no one came to pick up our trash. When I called, the girl was nice and set up a special pick up for the following day. The second week, they didn't come again. When I called, they were VERY rude but set up a special pick up again. The third week, they didn't show up AGAIN. I finally got the idea and called and cancelled. The girl said she would have to get "approval" to return my money, which I had paid three months in advance. Apparently, customer service is not the top of their list. I will now pay the extra $3 a month for the "big name" trash removal, but at least I know it will be picked up

Homeowner

EDS missed our trash pick-up day on Monday. No one answered the phone on Tuesday - ever. [All of our customer service representatives are busy]Someone did answer the phone on Wednesday and when asked if they could get the trash picked up right away, because neighbors complain if trash is left more than one day, she said, "No". She might be able to have some one come out 'tomorrow'. When asked for a supervisor, a mailbox connected to Mr. Loos [or that's what it sounded like she said]. A message was left, noting that most people and business are expected to take responsibility for their mistakes; try not paying EDS and I'm sure your service will be cut off without warning, whether you received an invoice or not! As far as EDS having employee 'problems', they don't share their profits with me, why share their problems? To me, EDS didn't provide that for which they were paid - ergo, breach of contract. Naturally I'd be a fool to continue service with this company.

EDS is Great!

We have had excellent service from EDS! They take whatever we put out - as long as you put it in a trash can. Some kind of recycling would be a great new option. Thanks ESD for your great service! Keep up the good work!

I give them a definite "meh"

These guys were only so-so. They definitely picked up my trash on time every week, regardless of the snow or whatever, but they were kind of... I don't know, prima donnas? That's the best description that comes to mind. If they say you can put out 10 bags of yard waste and then during fall leaf raking, you put out 11 bags, guess what? They'll leave one stinking bag of leaves sitting at the end of your driveway! Another time, I had raked up apples and filled up most of a SMALL trash barrel with apples... it was heavy, but two people could've lifted it. Well, they left that too. So, I gave up and started composting all my yard waste! I am actually going to switch companies now because I need one that does more types of recycling. These guys don't recycle paperpoard, and I am just throwing away tons of paperboard, it seems. I'm trying to become a little more environmentally responsible, so along with composting, I'm going to start recycling too.
