I purchased a 4.7l Dodge, rebuilt engine form Accurate Engines. It was shipped to Miami and further to the Bahamas. The Engine was installed. The engine ran fine. Suddenly some laud knocking noises appeared from the core of the engine(2 months after installation).According to Mr. Lazarazo I sent the engine back to Accurate Engines.
After many phone calls and emails he responded short in an email. $1200 for repair. I disagreed.
I have since that called and left messages every day for the last months. No response. No response.
I have also spoken to other persons at the company. Nada !
My truck is without an engine down here in the Bahamas. This is my working tool.
I am suffering badly. What could I do?

Slow response. Terrible warranty. Poor workmanship on the engine. Screwed me out of over $1500. Lanny will screen your calls and refuse to communicate if he owes you anything. Use at your own risk.

What a nightmare! i bought an engine for my dodge durango and in the process of buying they were so nice, they called me a few times a day every day and I was convince that it was a nice place to buy it and the garanty of $400 back sounded good. ....:(

4 months later... Today , I am still waiting my $400 dollars back!, oh sorry... They said thta it will be only $200 dollars back because the core was. No good!! Duh!, of course was not good, that why I needed a new engine. They never said nothing to me, and they said that their mechanic stablish that was no good enough for the $400 dollars back!!!! What??. How they determine the amount for that? I had the promise of $400 not $200 and now I have $0000. I called.. The system is down (they said), I called... My check is on it way (they said, 3 months ago), I called... they said they are busy and they will call meback... I need the core report to compare with someone else (Sorry, It is a private information, they said)

What happened with the nice sellsman I was talking by phone? Where is everybody in that company?. They Just wanted my money.. Well ! it is enough for me!, I will I have to contact the Better Bussiness Beaure and see what will happen .

SCAM! They offer a better price for engines but the raw true we pay more that any other similar

Let's see whats happen with the engine.. If they are like that I need to be prepare for what?. An accurate engine? Please!!!,

Worst experience I've ever had with a company.They did a horrible job on the engine, it didn't last.

They won't stand behind their "warranty", they will constantly lie, stall, and give you the runaround. Their parts are low quality, their mechanics are inept, lazy, or poorly trained. Janessa Byrns and Lanny Hassel might as well be considered *** artists, because nothing out of their mouths is the true.

The vehicle is in worse condition then when it came in, the engine won't even turn over, and they trashed the rest of the car working on it.Don't bother with them, they will waste your time, destroy your car, and take your money.

These guys fixed my car almost for free!!! I was in desperate need of help and they were there. Bless these guys

they took my sons truck in in September 2014 and told me that it was going to be a 2 week turn around, over 2 months later they finished it, they had my credit card on file and charged a additional unauthorized charge of 3,000.00 on it, so I suggest you DO NOT leave a charge card with them. They also promised me 3 checks of 200.00 to help with rental car costs for my son due to the fact that it took them 8 weeks longer to fix the truck than promised and of course they only sent me 1 check for 200.00 and kept telling me the other two were in the mail. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

I have bought a engine in Oct of 2011. It has to have lifters and rockers replaced. These guys want me to put the engine and ship it back to them. I would have to pay for shipping, to have the engine pulled and down time in the garage while the motor gets to them and they put these parts in and ship it back which i have to pay. Because they are cheap and just wont pay for parts and labor. If they do it there way they get out of the labor part. If i would just pay for the work that will be done it would be cheaper than sending them back a motor that doesnt need taken out of the vehicle. Stay away. Far away. Only got one star because i had too.

I have been in business for more that 15 years and know from experience that people tend to only comment when they have trouble. I would like to make sure that folks know that I had a wonderful experience with the workmanship from Accurate Engines. I own a catering company and when one of my vehicles needed a motor I called them and asked what kind of a turnaround they had...in 3 days they had removed my motor, rebuilt it and replaced it. I made sure that I also replaced the water pump, sensors, oil lines etc. when the motor was out. I wasn't charged extra for bringing in my own parts! These guys are friendly and hard working. I had a small exhaust leak and they fixed it while I waited. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! They had my car for a total of 6 months!! Car is rendered UNSAFE TO DRIVE because when they put the tranny back in, they did not install motor mounts nor control arm nor tighten bolts, no properly install tranny linkage people!!!!! PLUS my car was hit and the back fin was broke off as well as a large dent in the back bumper. All I get is the run around!! Put on hold for over 10 minutes on 3 occasions with no one returning to the line. Have requested 3 times to speak with owner, Lanny Hassel, and not one attempt by him. I bet I have made 15 calls in the past 2 weeks, only to be told one thing then the other!!!!! EMPTY TALK! Salesman talk a bunch of CRAP and THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK OR WARRANTY!!!! They even had the audacity to ask me to file a claim with my insurance!!!!!!! I contacted the BBB and will continue to pursue relentlessly as I do not want one other person to go through the headaches and stress that I have been thru with these SCAMMERS!!!!! TOTAL SCAMMERS! I am NOT the only one who feels this way! Check out all the bad reports and BBB complaints just in the past 2 years! Wish I did more research before I took my beautiful Acura in to them. I feel destroyed and betrayed by ALL of them. And what a coward for the owner to not call back. If they would have done what they promised, and not pushed me aside with empty words, none of this would have been reported. Now its on!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never ever ever have I had such a TERRIBLE experience!!!!!!!! NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Horrible experience with accurate engines. Read good reviews and used them for an engine rebuild to save money, less than six months later the engine developed a serious problem, and had to be shipped back for $500 so they could diagnose and fix the problem. Turns out the problem "could have" been caused by causes outside the engine, so they claim it's not under warranty and want another $1000 in addition to the original fee and costs to take out and ship the engine a second time. All around a nightmare, horrible service, extremely expensive, stay away!

Ask jasper what they think of acurate engines. They warned me but I went ahead to save 400 bucks. Bought an engine from allen in august of 2012 and here it is november and still no core money. There all crooks

I had a good experience, even though a couple problems did come up. They communicated with me quickly and solved all problems as needed. When I picked up my car they were very friendly and the cost was exactly as quoted.

There service was excellent quick, and the tech's were honest and trustworthy. I will be back if and when I need work done again on any of my vehicles in the future.

This was the place I used for my motor rebuild. They were able to accommodate special requests and did a great job. It runs perfect and doesnt smoke. I think they did great!

I had them install a used engine in my 2012 silverado. The motor is in great running condition and sounds good too. It runs very well and has plenty of power. They were easy to deal with and reasonably priced.

I got a great rebuilt engine from them for my Jeep. I have had zero problems with it and see no smoke at all from it so that tells me its a good rebuild. I was pleased with every aspect of the service.

The work from this place was top notch and I appreciate all of their help. The car runs better now than it has in a long time.

accurate engines was the place I had a project motor built for a car in the garage. It has done well over the last year and seen plenty of miles, all smiles!
