I was in need of a car so I went on Village Auto's web site. I found a used Hyundai Santa Fe. I contacted John and told him I wanted to buy it. This was on Friday and on Monday I was sitting in Bill's office signing papers. I love my new SUV. Great service! Thank you Village Auto!

I was looking for a pick up in the 15 to 20,000 range. Just so happened to stumble onto there website. I took a ride to oconto and looked. When I asked about the truck he brought out the file they had on hand set it on the desk opened it up and said " here is what we got " and let me page through the history they had and they inspection sheet that there service tec had found and corrected / or not corrected. There was no topper on the truck and I asked. He told me that if there was one in green bay it was mine . Saturday when I picked it up I again asked about the topper they told me there was one and they would put it aside.I picked it up on Monday ( a perfect color match).

I was very happy with the way Geoff handled our purchase of a newer truck. It was great how he was able to hold the truck for us while our insurance claim was handled. The truck had one minor problem during our test drive and was fixed within a day prior to us picking up the truck. He could tell that we knew what we were looking for and he didn't try to sway us into something we didn't want and the purchase went very quick and easy. I would definitely recommend Village Auto to others in the future!

We purchased our second vehicle from Village Auto and Geoff Sonntag for our daughter who was in need of a vehicle. My husband coordinated with Geoff ahead of time via email and Geoff was very responsive and answered all of our questions. When we got to the dealership, he was expecting us and had the vehicle ready for us to test drive as he knew we were on a very tight schedule. The vehicle we chose was in nice condition and ran well as Geoff told my husband. We were very happy with our first purchase, so we are placing our trust and confidence with Geoff on this purchase. We drove over a 180 miles (for the second time) to purchase a used vehicle from this dealership, so that is a testament to their treatment of their customers. For honesty and quality used-vehicles, this is the dealership to go to.

I am 67 year old widow and I never bought a car without my husband before this one. I bought an Escape from the salesman Geoff and he was terrific. Took his time with me, showed me everything, and answered all my questions. I love the car and got a great price.

IT was great opportunity to purchase a dodge ram truck from village auto.Geoff was very helpful excellent customer service . We found the perfect car for our daughter here. Malibu in excellent shape and the price was lower than similar cars at other dealerships. Almost a year now and the only costs have been gas and oil. People, selection, price, and quality were all A+.

I have waited a month to let it all soak in so to speak and the following is what I know to be true. Joe/manager either lied and/or misrepresented the truth as shown below. I was buying from out of town and even though I had paid a local shop to inspect the truck I had to trust Joe on some things. Joe is somewhat personable and seems straight, but he is shifty and useless. Verbatim I was told "with exception of a couple drive door dings the truck is in excellent condition. We did a tuneup and replaced all items needing repair along with filters, belt and wipers". I did accept a few things because of the 6hr round trip drive, but lied nontheless. Over the last 30 years I have bought many cars so this is not an unreliable review. If I were management I would demote or fire him. Not a good representation of what may otherwise be a decent car dealership.



* paint under direct sunlight is not nearly as good as claimed "nearly perfect". Subtle streaking everywhere!

* several more dings than was stated. 9 to be exact.

* carpet is very rough in places.

* oil gauge does not work.

* valve cover oil leak was not repaired.

* water leak was not repaired. Thankfully not a big leak

* driver seat did have a tear even after Joe said he looked.

* needed wiper blades before getting home.

* gas mileage was terrible before real tuneup.

* needed plugs, wires, filters, oil change, pcv. What was tuned up"

* was told parking brake was missing, but not that both rear brake adjuster assembly was missing.

* transmission, driveshaft u-joints and/or 4x4 drive is clunking. Unsolved at this point.

* air conditioner barely cools. Unsolved at this point.

* Wisconsin buyers guide listed truck not legal for tags due to parking brake inoperable, wheel spacers and oversized tires. Also listed original price a $6995 when actual advertised price was $5995. When mentioned it was pointed out that I was paying the price we agreed on so what's the difference? I'm not sure...what is the difference?



One final note was after Joe said hello, no handshake, we did not see him again. It was all handled by Jen who by the way was quite pleasant to work with.

Just bought a an Audi TT that ...

Just bought a an Audi TT that now needs $700 of work after having it for two weeks (ingnition coils and plugs). And a new clutch in the near future which will be $1300. I asked the guy when I bought it what the sound was when I pushed in the clutch and he said it was suppose to be like that. If I spend almost 10 grande on a car I shouldn't be dumping money into it already!!
