I would like to thank Brian Bauer and his team at Phenix Investigations for their collaborative efforts in implementing a successful investigation program to the audit and legal department. His team included national investigators for surveillance work and Brian personally incorporated innovative investigation strategies that produced quality results. Over the past 4 years the program expanded to include post termination, trade infringement, asset and background investigations. Franchise companies should include this type of program to weed out those franchisee's that try to go around the system. Brian Bauer also helped at the franchisee level by conducting fraud risk assessments which proved to be most beneficial to each store owner. These programs were a win win for the corporate office and franchisee store owners. The value of the work provided is immeasurable to any company.
